Motivation for Monday: Driven by Eternity

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psalms 90:2

What if I were to tell you that your life, the one that you are living now, is just one drop in a full bucket of water.  Better yet, your life is just one drop in several thousand buckets of water when you change your perspective to eternity.  Even better, your life is just a drop in an infinity number of oceans when you are really thinking about living eternity with our everlasting God!

Here is your Motivation for Monday:

God is amazing!  And he made you amazing!

God will always be God.  He will always be infinite and he will always be all knowing.  There is no way at this time to comprehend his entire plan for us, yet alone his plan for the universe.  However, there are a lot of secrets hidden inside of us that are yet to be revealed.  When we live our life in the truth of the word, then we get closer to God.  The closer we get to God the more he reveals to us.

God gave us the gift of this life to live, to learn, and to grow.  It is so very important to understand that the life you live now will determine your position in eternity.  You must live your life on purpose.  It is such a short life to live when you have the perspective of eternity.  What you do with your life today is important.  How you listen and obey God's voice is important.  Did you know that you are adding up accolades and rewards from your father in heaven?  I mean, it's not a competition with each other but more like a competition with yourself. . . what you do in this life will determine your position in eternity.  Hence, you must ask your self this following question:  Are you achieving at your personal best or did you give up on life?

Don't give up on this life!

Keep living.  Keep breathing.

I tell you the truth, when my dad passed away a few months ago I really saw no point to it all.  I even told my mom,"I'm done, I'm ready to go."  I really just wanted God to tell me what else I had to do so that I could just call it quits.  But we know that God has plans for us all.  With in these last two months I have had 3 acquaintances loose a parent.  If you have lost someone close to you I will share with you the same thing I shared with them . . . You can do this, there is life after this, and we still have a life to live here.

Look we don't know God's complete plan from everlasting to everlasting. We just know that their is an everlasting in our hearts.  We know that there is something more to this life then just being born and dying.  There is so much more to this life!

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

You are beautiful, wonderful, and amazing in your time appointed here on this earth.  Then it will be time to graduate.  We all graduate at different times and at different levels.  Believe it or not, we will soon have an eternal life in an eternal body.  I wonder if what we do here on earth also determines what kind of body we will receive?

Are you Living according to your purpose?

"What we do in this finite time is going to determine how we spend eternity"

-John Bevere

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Job 36:26

About Eternity . . .

"We cannot grasp with our minds the endlessness or the enormity of it. However, God has placed it in our hearts. Even those who have hardened their minds to convince themselves there is no God still often, at the end of their lives, come to realize a deeper knowledge that has always been there."

(from "Driven by Eternity by John Bevere)

I'm putting this book on my to read list!

I encourage you to adopt the perspective of  Eternity.  We don't have long on this earth to live when we are looking at the whole picture.  It is very important to use the gifts, talents and abilities that we have to share the truth of God with others.  The truth is that we are spirits designed by God.  We were placed in this earth by God.  Our first Father Adam failed and God had to send his Son Jesus Christ to redeem our spirits.  One day he will call us back unto himself to continue the expansion of his Kingdom.  So, in this life you should get to know your creator.  You should get to know the gift that he has given us.   He gave  us the chance to accept everlasting life by sending a second Adam that did not mess up.  We should be getting excited about the everlasting kingdom that we will be part of after this life is over.  I'm excited for my spirit to communicate with my natural father's spirit again.  I'm motivated to life this life on purpose!!

It is Important to Live this Life.

It is very important to live this life on Purpose.

-Until Next Time

I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait and in his word do I hope.  Psalm 130:5 KJV
