Live Life post 79 What is your punch line?

This was a good one . . .

More than Funny!

Have you ever heard of Michael Jr.  I haven't, except that my husband is a Michael Jr.  This is not the same person.  This Michael Jr. is a comedian, a very funny comedian.  But more than that he is a comedian who has found his purpose.  I just watched a Ted talk that he gave "More than Funny" and I wanted to share it with you . . .

The Set Up:

In his Ted talk, Michael Jr., does a wonderful job making you laugh, but there is a deeper message.  He encourages you to ask the question: What is my purpose?

There are a lot of things out there in the world that will try to tell you that you are not worth anything.  Perhaps the world will try to tell you that you are damaged goods, flawed in some type of way.  The truth is that God sends us our talents and our flaws to make us stronger.  This is all connected to our purpose in life.

The things that you go through are for the good and everything will work out for the good.  Believe this, understand this, and understand that you can  help others get to where they need to be.

The Punch Line:

You are more than what you think.  I encourage you to believe it.  I encourage you to love.  I encourage you to give.  I encourage you to share yourself so that you can find your punch line.

In order to understand what I'm talking about, check out the video and watch it to the end . . .

Live Life Post 78: You are not an accident!

This was on my mind and this is for somebody right now.

You are not an accident.  Your life means something and God made you for a purpose.  Stay encouraged. . .

Get into the right mindset and understand that you are important to the Lord.  One of my favorite quotes from  Eric Thomas, a motivational speaker I listen to, goes like this :

"Stop waking up in the morning like it was an accident!"

It is not an accident that we wake up each day.  Each day is another chance for us to fulfill our purpose.  Each day is an opportunity to step closer to our destiny!

If you want to have more, you have to become more.

For things to change, you have to change.

For things to get better, you have to become better.

If you improve, everything will improve for you.

If you grow, your money will grow; your relationships, your health, your business and every external effect will mirror that growth in equal correlation.

I pray that this is helpful to you and that you find motivation and inspiration,

Live life Post 77: Grow in Scripture Study

Love this! I found it on Pinterest.  I love the graphic and I briefly checked out the site.  Looks like she is a mom blogger spreading the word of Jesus Christ with lots of advice for parents and children.  If this is your interests check it out!  The picture is a direct link to the site.

It is important for us to study scripture in order to become closer to the Lord.  The more we do this the more we grow.  The more we practice the easier it gets and the Lord will help us to understand.  Good Luck to you!

Live Life post 75: Finding your Purpose

Post 74

Thank you so much for all your support and for checking out my post on blogspot and at artteacher4purpose.com.

I would really love to get some feed back about what you are interested in learning.

What do you want to talk about?

What do you want to learn about God?

What do you want to learn that will help you get closer to your purpose . . .

You see, your probably very busy, but this is what I have dedicated my life to doing.  I have the time to research, read, and then conceptualize this information for you.

I have had a head start to this spiritual journey.  I have been in the church all my life, but more than this I have been surrounded with wonderful teachers and spiritual leaders.  My Dad is a pastor and his dad was also a Baptist minister/pastor.  My mother and her mother are COGIC missionaries, and also my grandfather is a pastor/superintendent.  My father in law is the Bishop at my current church, at where I am a youth leader.  But still this does not mean anything unless I share with you that I have a personal relationship with the Lord.

It is my personal relationship with the Lord that let's me know my value.  He has surrounded me with people who love me and people I know will continue to pray for me.

I want to let you know that you also have value.  Your life means so much to the Lord and he really wants you to get to know him.

You see, it doesn't really matter who my family is, that is not going to get me into heaven.  Instead what really matters is that I know that the Lord for myself.  I know he loves me and I love him.  I except his gift of grace and chose to live a life dedicated to him.

So with that said, check out my new post about finding your purpose:

#1 Learn 6 steps that will help you Prioritize your Purpose

#2 Learn 3 Spiritual Exercises That will Help you Find Your Purpose.

Live life post 74 The Game of Life

Did I ever share this with you?

I found a book in the public domain about how the spiritual law governs this world . . .

It is a book about Jesus, but don't let that put you off if you are not a believer. . .

I just thought about how life changing this book was for me and really wanted to share it with you.  Look, if you don't believe in the power of words and the power of positive thought, then this book is not for you.

But,

If you like free stuff and are willing to step out of your comfort zone, check out this book on you tube called "The Game of Life and How to Play it" by Florence Scovel Shinn.

The bible says that the law is for the lawless.  Guess what, we are the lawless because we live in this world.  This world system does not want us to know the laws of the universe.  But when we have the love of Jesus in our hearts we should feel the pull to learn more about love.  We should want to learn more about him, more about the word, and more about his law.   We do this by reading the Bible.

Sometimes we need a little help with interpretation and this is why I recommend this book.

Just listen to it on you way to and from work this week, I'm sure it will be a game changer!

"He that keepeth the law, happy is he"

Proverbs

Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking for your purpose. . .

Live Life post 73 "Abracadabra"

3-21-2017

I always say how powerful words are.  I try to tell people all the time that words have power.  I believe it because I read this in the bible, and also practice it in my life.

When I speak I want to make sure that I am speaking positive things in my life and not negative.  When I speak I want to make sure I am thinking positive so that I speak positive.  This takes practice but I'm getting better and better at being conscious about the things that I say.

We must all practice saying the magic words . . .please and thank you are a good start but I'm talking about:

Abracadabra

I just saw a Ted X talk today given by a magician who said he wanted to do some research on the word abracadabra to see why so many magicians used it.  He said that he never used the word in his act before because he thought that it was childish nonsense.  But when he found out what it really meant and he started applying it to his life, he began to tap into it's real power.  I linked the video above. . .

I'm going to approach this subject from a whole different angle, I'm coming from a more spiritual perspective:

Abracadabra has Aramaic origins and means "I create what I speak"

or "I create like the word" and in Hebrew "It came to pass as it was spoken."

So, as we explore these words and the translation we can gain a better insight on the "word" and the power of the words we speak.  We have authority with our words.  Just like God spoke and brought the world into existence, we bring things into our existence with the words that we speak.

We should take notice of the pattern that God laid out for us in Genesis chapter 1: The power of God was already moving and waiting for directions to carry forth. Then God said, God saw, God took action, then he called it what he wanted to call it, then it was what it was because God called it to be so.

-Go back and read Genesis Chapter one

What does this mean for us?
We need to speak things as if they are going to happen, when we see it happening and manifesting into our lives, we ought not forget that we called it there. So, when we do see it, we call it good and  recognize God for giving us the ability to have this power.

The word is powerful because from a spiritual perspective the word is God . . .

Hence  Abracadabra = I create like the word = I create like God

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-2

The word is Jesus Christ and he has the power to create under the decree of our heavenly father.  We have the ability to speak with thought and vision connected to the speech.  So we also make decrees as God has made decrees.  Is this what it means in Genesis Chapter 1 when God said "let us create man in our image . . ."  and also when he said that we have dominion over the animals and everything in the earth?  Think about who you really are!
And so it was not surprising to me to find out that:
"[A]bracadabra may comprise the abbreviated forms of the Hebrew words Av (Father), Ben (Son) and Ruach Ha Codesch (Holy Spirit). . ."
I don't know Hebrew so I cannot confirm this information that I got of Wikipedia, but knowing my Heavenly Father and his all knowing wisdom, I wouldn't be surprised if the demonic realm tried to devalue the word Abracadabra by correlating it with cheap magic tricks and over using it for something that doesn't really matter.  This is how the enemy works against us, devaluing our power, and getting us to believe that we don't really have any!
I said all of that to say this:  We have power!  There is power in our words.  Now, every time I catch myself saying something negative to myself or others, I will say Abracadabra to shift myself into God's way of thinking.  We all need to start thinking in the way God made us to think.  He made us to be fruitful and multiply the good stuff, not the bad.
Believe it or not because this is more than just magic, this is God!

Abracadabra!

Live Life Day 70 Prepare to Launch

Day 70
3-16-17

Prophetic Word Confirmation!

The atmosphere is changing in the natural and in the spiritual.  You can see it in the weather patterns.

I live in New Jersey where it is supposed to be a regular 4 season year.   Last week, however, the trees were budding with pink flowers and the white snow floated to lay softly on the spring ready branches.

I remember saying something about this crazy weather back in January, there is a shift in the atmosphere.  The spiritual atmosphere is allowing God's people to not only have good ideas for business but God ideas for business.  You will never go wrong with a God idea.  This is a prosperity shift for God's people!

Things for you will grow out of season, it will not make sense, and it will not happen like it normally should.  But because God is changing the atmosphere you will achieve supernatural growth.

Just Do It!

If you have been feeling like you are being pulled in the direction to spread God's word by starting a business, writing a book, or just something that you may not feel totally comfortable in doing, just do it.  God's people are being called and are awakening each day.  There is a reason why you are hear now, there is a reason why you are reading this blog!

I am so ready for the launch of God's Kingdom.  Check out this video that my sister sent to me.  It is confirmation on a prophetic word that God gave me a few months ago.  It is time for our ideas to come forth and be solid examples of what it means to live for Christ.

Watch and pray for the kingdom of heaven will be here soon.

Find your purpose, follow the dream that God has given you because that dream is your destiny.

Until Next Time

day 69 What do you do when you fail?

Day 69
3-15-2017

I am a writer and self proclaimed business women.  I'm  asking God to keep giving me ideas so that I can get paid for these talents. The thing is I'm not hitting my money making goals.  I'm failing and I'm not really sure what to do about it . . .

What do I always do when I feel down? I pray.

Not having money is definitely a trigger for me to be sad.  I went from earning money as a teacher to having to ask my husband for gas money.  How embarrassing, especially when I was so sure I would be making big blogging bucks by now.  I'm 7 months in, and all I have been doing is writing.  Writing e-books, writing blogs, writing query letters. . .

I claim myself to be a writer now.  This platform is supposed to be my daily practice to hone in on my skills.  I had set a goal to post each day this year, quickly convincing my self on day 5 that I would take the weekends off.  I also lackadaisically missed a few mid-week post here and there.  It wasn't until this week that I felt that I had fell completely off!

So, what do you do when you don't meet a goal?

Don't beat yourself up about it, that's not going to help you . . .

I know what I did yesterday . . . I stayed in bed, snow day for me and the kids, I didn't write at all.  I felt bad for not writing but knew that I had to quickly get my mind right.  I don't have time to stay sad because I have a vision for my life!

We can't spend too much time feeling down.  It is a normal thing, it is an emotion that we have to recognize, but then we have to get out of it as quickly as we can.  I keep my goals in mind and know that I have to push my self because I have a purpose in this earth.  I know I have to keep on going for my children, for my family, and for souls still waiting to hear the word of God.  Their are souls that need to be saved and words that need to be written . . .

So what do you do when you fail?

Get up and try again . . .

With some adjustments to my goals, I plan to launch a new niche site regarding living on purpose.  I will continue with videos, books, and purpose driven inspiration.  I'm working on it so  pray for me.  I will continue to post on this blogger site until I reach my 365 goal.  It might not happen with in the year but I will make 365 posts for purpose.  Stay tuned!

It is important to make plans just so that we have something to reach for.  However, it is important to understand that God holds the ultimate plan book and we have to make adjustments to the plan he has already written for us.  So when we fail, we just pray and ask God to redirect us so that we get on the right path again.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

I'm just going to keep on praying, keeping on stretching, reaching, and planning.  I'll chip away at my goals, day by day.  I will not give up and I will not quit.  I will try harder tomorrow than I did today.  I will tell myself like I am telling you now . . .

God's got you!

Live Life Day 68 What is my Purpose?

Day 68
3-10-2017

Image result for a flower growing

Your Purpose is to grow.  It was genetically programed into your DNA.  The only thing we have to do now is stop getting in the way of what God has already planned to happen.

Instinct is leading you to do exactly what you are supposed to do.  God designed you that way.  Build a dialog with God and he will build your confidence in believing exactly who he made you to be.

Grow . . .

I pray that this is helpful in you finding your purpose.

Live Life Day 67 What is my purpose?

Day 67
3-9-2017

Image result for when you walk in your purpose you collide with destiny

That's the whole point.  You have to keep walking the walk and trust in God to lead you down the right paths.  God wrote your purpose.  He is the only one who knows it completely and fully.  Why then, does the world think they can find their destiny another way but through the directions that he sent us to follow?  Very interesting.  Build  your relationship with God.  He would love for all his children to get to know him and collide with their destiny.

Pray that this helps lead you closer to God and closer to your purpose.

Life Life day 66 Quotes by Lisa Nichols

Day 66
3-18-2017

"Being unapologetic means that I will be all of me.  I will no longer shrink or compromise myself by playing small so others will not feel insecure in my presence."

-Lisa Nichols

Love, Love, Love reading a good book that motivates the soul!  I just bought "Abundance Now" by Lisa Nichols.  I am ready to curl up with it and squeeze all the motivational juice out of it.  I'm sure I will have some good tips from it in a few weeks.  I have followed Lisa for a while on You Tube, and if you don't know about this transformational life couch you can check her out in the video below.

I'm doing quotes this week so I hope this one helps move you into a new life for yourself.  A life full of joy, happiness, and fulfillment.  A life that is dedicated to a higher power for a higher purpose.  You deserve to be happy!

"You deserve to be happy, you deserve to be joyful, you deserve to be celebrated.  But in order to do that you must first fall madly in love with yourself."

-Lisa Nichols

"Do you realize that your love, your peace, your joy, your bliss can be so powerful in you that it becomes contagious, and people just want to be around you and they don't even know why."

-Lisa Nichols

"It's your responsibility to show the world how to treat you by the way in which you treat yourself."

#Abundance Now

-Lisa Nichols

"Trust yourself and the divine in you.  Know that all things are working together to support you living your best life."

-Lisa Nichols

"I'm not going to ask the world if I can be great, I'm going to give the world notice that I will be great."

Live Life Day 65 Prioritize your Destiny!

Day 65
3-7-2017

I pray that you grow from these suggestions that I post day to day.  I find that the Lord encourages me to encourage you.  I had mentioned a time before that it is always important to take care of yourself.  What I mean by that is, you have to prepare yourself to be in the appropriate position to help others.  The help that we provide has to be lined up with God's purpose.

We are here to please God not to please man!

Helping others is a very important part of our purpose in this life.  But it is also very important to note that we must be prepared to prioritize and get our lives in order in order to help others.  Only God can help us do this the right way. . .

"I've seen talented people fail to reach their full potential because they cannot set priorities.  They are afraid of hurting someone's feelings.  They don't want anyone to be mad at them.  They want to be accepted by people who don't matter.  They are afraid to make destiny more important then peer pressure."

-Bishop TD Jakes (from his new book Destiny)
We must learn how to prioritize the things that God has directed us to do.  Remember obedience is better than sacrifice . . . so let us get in the business of prioritizing our dreams and stop letting people, things and situations distract us from what we are really here on earth to do.  We are here to fulfill our destiny and complete our purpose.

If you have a vision for your future, awesome, write it down.  If you are still searching for your purpose, you are fine, many of us still are.  Don't ever give up on the dream that God gave you.   Your dreams are connected to your destiny.  Your destiny is fulfilling your purpose.

Live Life Day 65 The Shack

Day 65
3-6-2017

I love good inspirational Christian based books, and I also love good Christian movies.  I just went to go see "The Shack" with my mom.  What a beautiful story and interpretation to help us understand who God is.  Thank you God for a blessing to my soul.  I encourage you all to go and see it.  I am motivated to go buy the book . . .

"Don't ever discount the wonder of your tears.  They can be healing waters and a stream of joy.  Sometimes they are the best words the heart can speak."

-William Paul Young, The Shack

This is now officially on my reading list. . .

Follow your hurt, heal from your hurt, forgive those who hurt you and grow from your ability to forgive.  You are well on your way to fulfilling your purpose.

Until Next Time.

Live Life Day 64: Fail Forward

Day 64
3-6-2017

Quote from a Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren:

"When God is allowed to shine the light of his truth on our faults, failures, and hang ups, can we begin to work on them.  This is why you cannot grow without a humble, teachable attitude.: p220

Don't be afraid to fail forward.  Don't be afraid to listen to God's correction.  We don't always get things right, nor are we supposed to.  But when we allow ourselves to evaluate where we went wrong, this is when we allow ourselves to grow.

Grow in your purpose. . .

Live Life Day 62: Know that God loves you

Day 62
3-3-2017

"Yea I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee." Jeremiah 31:3

He is calling you to a higher calling.
Image result for god is love

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.   God is love: and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in Him." I John 4:16

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” I John 4:7

“He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is Love” I John 4:8

“We love him, because he first loved us.” I John 4:19

He will never force you, he doesn't trick you into serving him.  He just keeps you in his care and gently calls you until you make that decision.

If you have not made that decision yet, but you think that you are ready to answer the call then pray this prayer with me . . .

"Lord I am a sinner and I recognize that you are offering me a better way to live.  You are offering me a life full of purpose.  God I am tired of living a life that is going nowhere.  I want to choose life and not death.  I give my life to you so that I can live for you.  I may not understand everything now, but I want to understand.  I want to know the truth.  I want to have a relationship with you.  I believe, please help my unbelief. Amen"

I pray that you are staying motivated by the word of God.  I also pray that you know that God loves you.  I just posted my AT4P post "12 Verses that Show God's Love for Us"
Check it out if you are wanting a closer walk with the Lord.

Stay motivated!

I pray that this was helpful in finding your purpose.

Live Life: Day 61 You are Powerful Beyond Measure

Day 61
3-2-1-2017

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."  -Marianne Williamson

Yesterday was my birthday and I was so in my zone that I forgot to post.  So today you get two for the price of one!!

I pray that this blog is a blessing to someone, whoever you are.  I pray that the right people read it at the right time so that they can be encouraged and inspired to live life and to live it more abundantly.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I am writing a book about life, and living life according to how God wants us to live it.  It comes from my point of view and is a memoir of sorts.  I asked God for some motivation and some encouragement because often times I feel alone and like the world is against me. There is a voice in the back of my head that says "no one wants to read your book!" But God told me, the world is not against me,  this is just a thought that I have place in myself.  There is nothing to fear but fear itself.  As I encourage myself, I want to encourage you by telling you there is nothing to fear!

I came across a woman by watching Marie TV, and her name is Marianne Williamson.  What can I say, just awesomeness.  She says everything that I say in my book, just more eloquent in her metaphysical terminology.  She is a speaker, an author, a psychologist, and a spiritual motivator.  I know I will continue to look her up on you tube.  I listened to one of her books yesterday called "Return to Love" and I would like to share it with you.  Check it out.

All my best always.  I hope this week was an encouraging week for you as it was for me.
Always praying that you take that next step to find your purpose.
Until Next Time

Live Life: Day 60 Journey to Success

Day 60
3-1-2017

This has been a motto of mine since I was in High School.  We are all on this journey to find our true calling, our true purpose, and our true happiness.  We must learn from our mistakes, apply our lessons, and try to do better next time.  There really is no use dwelling on the past, or being disappointed in your current circumstances.  The most important thing is to keep moving forward.  We must keep striving to do better and be better.  We must keep letting God place us right where we are supposed to be.

What does your journey to success look like?  What ever it looks like make sure you let the spirit lead the way. . .

I will continue to answer the call of the Lord.

"Lord, I am prepared to follow because you are preparing me for the journey."

Follow you dreams and find your purpose!
Until next time
