Day 6: Live Life Devotional

Day 6
God Loves You

We are dealing with a lot of issues in this world.  There are many things that we have to overcome in order to truly fulfill our purpose in this life.  Mindset is one of the biggest challenges that we have to overcome in order to change our perspective about the world around us.

What I really need you to understand from these 40 days is that it is man who fails us and not God.  God does not fail because he has the perspective of eternity.  Everything can be figured out.  God already figured out our situation, and he already sent the solution.  Now we have to change our perspective about what it really means to live a surrendered life.

A Surrendered life does not mean bondage.  There is so much freedom when we change our minds to God's purpose and God's will.  God loves us and he does not want us to live a wasted life.

God loves us so much that he gave his son to us so that we could have a chance to change our minds about the way we are living.  He wants us to change our minds about working for things that are temporary.  He wants us to gain a mindset for eternity.

Let us change our minds from:

The lie: “I’m all alone, and no one cares about me. No one is coming to save me.”

To

The truth:  God loves you with an everlasting love.  He has already sent his son to save you.  Now you just have to seek after him.

These are hard times to live in. The world can seem like a very lonely place when you don’t have anyone to talk to. But the Lord hears you and he is talking to you. You may not recognize his voice, or you may think that you are not worthy of his love. But God doesn’t work that way. He loves you because he is love. God sent his spirit from heaven to earth, in order to become a man to save you from everlasting separation from your creator. God doesn't want you to be separated from him forever!

So, again, this life can be hard. But remember, it is not God who makes it hard. Instead, it is man's heart, and wrong thinking that makes this life hard.  Irresponsibly, disastrously, and continuously men paint over God's masterpiece.  This should not be.

We must know that God loves us. We have to meditate on that and condition it in our heart. The world program tries to convince us that God does not care. This is not true. God cares for us.

God gave man dominion over the earth. This means that "Man" has the POWER in this earth.  The human "man" has spoken authority in this earth because we were supposed to be an extension of God's Kingdom.  We lost our way to becoming what we were destined to become.   Understanding this fact, we can better understand why God had to become a man.  He had to become a human, (having spoken authority in the earth), in order to reclaim the original authority (still in the earth) that was lost by Adam.

God loved us so much that he gave us a second chance at everlasting life!

Let us meditate (think on continuously) on the following verse all day today:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16
