Live Life Project: Day 59: Listen to positive motivation

Day 59

Encourage and motivate yourself by changing your input.  We hear so many negative things these days.  We are constantly bombarded with the concepts of what we can't do instead of what we can do.  We have to look for that positive energy, positive language, and positive motivation.  I encourage you to start listening to motivation.  It will be a blessing to you.

If you really want to hear a speaker with talent, look up Les Brown on You tube.  I went to see him in person once and it was life changing.  This is why I can't go back to my old life.  I can't go back to living in a day dream.  I will continue to encourage myself and continue to learn how to live the life of my dreams!

Here are some awesome quotes by this awesome speaker . . .

Live Life: Day 57 Let's get Inspired

Day 57
2-26-2017

I am going to inspire myself.  Sometimes it seems like you are all alone and that their is no one around to pour into you.  In cases like this you have to encourage your self . . . so that is what I am going to do with the help of the Lord.

Last week was a stressful week for me and I claim this week to be an inspirational week so I'm going to take the words that God sends me and sow an inspirational message into my heart.  This blog site was never meant to get too heavy anyway, it is supposed to be a page of motivation!!

I will follow my purpose!

I will be triumphant!

I will follow the voice of the Lord!

I will do what he wants me to do

and I dare you to try to stop me!

I made a change in my life because I made a decision to live a better one!

If it is only me and the Lord, I am going to keep going until he calls me home.
I don't live by chance, I live on purpose!

Life Life Day 55/56: Recognizing Spirits of Darkness

Day 55/56
2-24-2017

The last few days have opened my eyes to the very powerful presence of demonic spirits all around us.  Therefore, we began a new study on recognizing spirits of darkness.  Understand also that it is still important to know the power of our words, moving forward because we have to remain strong and aware.  But moving on . . .

Someone put this scripture up on Google + and I thought that they were fitting:

Matthew 7:21-23

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And Jesus says to them:

I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There was an Atheist that had posted something about how this scripture contradicted the bible when it said. . .

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

He asked  "How can this be, if Jesus rejected those who called him Lord, Lord ?"  But he was just asking in order to get an argument going. . .

I don't want new Christians to get confused on this scripture, nor do I want them to think it is a contradiction.  Simply put, there will be a lot of people who will be deceived by different spirits that seduce them away from the Lord.  The men and women following these spirits probably really do think that they are doing and teaching the right thing.  But they are being deceived by a delusion because of the darkness in their heart.

These people who are deceived will call upon the Lord, but they never really knew who he was or who he is.  You can not know the Lord by the works that you do.  Some people will even say that they have come in Jesus name but they really are the workers of iniquity.  Iniquity is past sin, the sin that has been dealt with when Jesus died on the cross for our sins.  Anyone who teaches that you have to do anything extra, other than believe that Christ died on the cross to save us, is a liar.

Love and peace is of the Lord.  Anger, strife, and  hate is of the enemy.  If you see these attributes in the people you hang around with, run the other way.

Salvation belongs to all who believe.

It is about recognizing the spirit of Belial and relates to the post about responding to the Hebrew Israelite.  If you were following along this week you will recognize a pattern with these seducing spirits.

I pray that this is a blessing to you and your journey to find your purpose.

Live Life Day 54: Christ died for us

Day 54
2-23-2017

I do not practice hate, nor do I condone it.  I have no hatred in my heart against any specific race of people.  I say that because of my post yesterday.  It was just very necessary to address the enemy with authority and clarity according to the word.  We do not wrestle with people but instead with spirits.  I was addressing the spirit as "devil" and not the man who was writing the words.

But I want to warn people that these spirits are getting stronger and stronger and they are pouring on strong delusions.  We must stay prayed up and encouraged in the word of God:

1 John 4:1-3
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

Everyone must be aware, anyone telling you that Christ did not die for our sins and that we have to follow a bunch of laws in order go to heaven is of the devil.  The bible says:

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life."

So please read your bible, pray, and do not be fooled by these spirits of darkness.

Jesus died so that we may have eternal life.  Jesus didn't die so that we can fail again at following the law:

Romans 10:4
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth."

I have two powerful books of prayer for you: #1 Draw the Circle by Mark Batterson #2 Prayers that Rout Demons & Break Curses by John Eckhardt.  If you want to make a change in your prayer life, these are two books that will help make that happen.  These books will help you grow stronger in the word of God while fighting those spirits of darkness that come to attack you.

I pray that this helps you in your journey to find your purpose.
Until Next Time

Live Life Day 53: A Response to a Hebrew Israelite

Day 53

A response to a Hebrew Israelite:

(As a teacher, I encourage you to look up the scriptures and study in context,  don’t just take my word for it)

My words are sent forth not as a debate but as a final thought on a matter that the enemy has tempted me with. There are certain emotions and feelings that overwhelm me when my spirit is troubled.  I understand that these types of feelings are not of God but of the enemy.  "For we wrestle not against  flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world . . .” (Ephesians 6:12)

And so I really had to pray and spend time with God, in order to hear his voice.  I asked God to respond to this spirit. I thank God for delivering me from this trap and from traps like it before.  To God be the glory.

This particular spirit dwells in the so called religion of the Hebrew Israelites.  I can not say that all Hebrew Israelites are of the devil but I do know that the spirit that I dealt with today was very knowledgeable about the word and uses it to manipulate the weak mind into thinking that they are wrong to serve Jesus Christ.  Let me tell you this, Christians, anyone or anything that tries to tell you that it is wrong to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ is a liar from the pits of hell.  This is why you must must know the word of God.

The devil knows the word, but he does not have interpretation of the word by the Holy Spirit.  This is why he tries to tempt us with debate in order to gain secrets from the Holy Spirit.  Debate (strife) is a fruit of death.  Death comes from ignorance which is darkness. “And the life was the light of men and darkness comprehended it not . . .”

This is what happened:

I was on Google +, I’m new to it.  I thought that everyone in this particular group was a Christian and followed Jesus Christ.  Boy was I wrong.  I made a comment on D.R Yisrael picture about waking up to understanding your nationality as a Hebrew people.  Now, I understand that everyone is not fully aware of who they are but as long as we know we are children of God, the spirit will continue to guide us in understanding (he will direct your paths).  God is not the author of confusion and does not reveal things to us before it is time to reveal it.

The thing was that this spirit was angry.  He pretty much tried to debate with anyone that did not accept what he was putting out.  The main debate being about the law and women not being permitted to teach in the church according to II Timothy 2:11.  I had read this scripture before and was not offended by it because God was already preparing me for this conversation.  The spirit already taught me on the law of order and I had some understanding of it.  But this spirit insisted that I had a problem with the word of God.  I did not.  But his tone and words really bothered me.  I asked God why was this man’s words bothering me soo much?

The answer:  God allowed this spirit to test me to see if I was going to ask for help.  I asked God for help.  I couldn’t do this on my own.  You see, I’m fighting a spiritual battle and I'm not  meant to debate with this Yisrael character.  God also told me that I can go back and forth with him all I want, but except the spirit enter into this man, he will not understand the truth.  Hence, the response to this spirit would be mostly for the Christians who are reading the responses.  I pray that the words of the spirit are received by true believers and that they are more aware of how spiritual warfare works.  Hence, this is my full response to D.R Yisrael:

“After this post I will no longer respond to you directly, you assume you know who I am and how I feel.  My offense is not to the word of God for the word of God is the foundation of truth and it is what I believe.

CHRISTIANS listen, “For Christ is the end of the law of righteousness to everyone that believe.” Romans 10:4  Why is this? “For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.” Romans 7:5. Sir, I do not judge but you judge me.  Instead I make observations and report the truth.  I do not have strife, variance, or seditions, but you do.  I can feel the anger in your responses and I notice that you feel you are superior to those that you say you are trying to reach (Heresies). SMH, these are fruits of death, not fruits of the spirit.  Except your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees, you shall in no way enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The truth is not in you.  Who has taught you these things because surely you are not using your critical thinking skills.  This is what I tell my students, to not believe everything that the world teaches you but to “study and show yourself approved unto God, a workman needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.”  Sir, you are not rightly dividing the word of truth. “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”  Why is this?  Because when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he was the only righteous man that could go to Satan and take back the authority that was stolen from Adam.  God did that so that other nations can be grafted into the promise, not only the Israelites.  If you think that only 144,000 will go to heaven you are as mistaken as the Jehovah witnesses.  I am not under a delusion, but you are.  You are not studying, you are just regurgitating what you were told, taught, and brainwashed to believe.  And yet you criticize me and my teaching, not knowing God sits me before women and the youth.  This is my purpose and my calling.

I know who I am.  II Timothy 2:11 also (II Corinthians 14:34) is referring to women not having a pastoral role in the church and not having authority over the man.  Also, reiterating the law of order that was set from the beginning of creation which truly the spirit has not revealed to you or you would know the power of influence that the woman holds over the man.  But the man is to be the protective covering over the woman, the woman respecting and giving reverence to the man and the man loving the woman.  This is true submittance.  Woman came out of man and therefore we are a part of him, why would you cast hate on yourself?

You are not a teacher, because if you were you would understand each person has a developmental process.  You misunderstand the law and the use of the law.  You are supposed to be happy when you follow the law, not in bondage. “ . . .happy is he that follow the law.”  You walk in darkness but you don’t know that you do.  Your father is the father of lies and my father is not in you.  If you were part of my family then your message would produce fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness.

The greatest teacher in the world had a patient spirit and he knew how to draw righteous people to him.  How are you doing on that?  Oh wretched man, who will deliver you from your body of death?  No one but the Holy Spirit.  And it is the Holy Spirit that guides my study and my teaching, not the church.  Religion will never save your soul from death,  Religion is nothing but a system of rules and practices (laws) that keep your mind in bondage, much like how your mind is in bondage.  I do not put my God in a box with a label.  For Christ has made me free and not entangled in the yoke of bondage, and if you feel you are justified by the law, then you have fallen from grace.  So, Good luck with that.

I thank God for the conversation and tell you once again that I am a servant. “ . . .Ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself . . .”  When you walk in the spirit you see with different eyes and hear with different ears and no longer suffer in the flesh to the lust of men but to the will of God: “But if ye be led by the spirit, ye are not under the law.” Romans 5:18 Truly the spirit has given me this word and according to the truth, when I teach under the spirit,  God is my covering, and I (my feelings, emotions, thoughts, opinions) am subject to him as the authority, and I (my feelings, emotions, thoughts, and opinions) are silent because he has the ultimate authority.  In this is a mystery that you are confused on regarding II Timothy 2:11.  But of course I cast my pearls because you have not the love of Christ in you to hear the spirit of truth.

Pauline doctrine also says “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16.  And if you are confused of why I left many scriptures unquoted, it is because a true teacher does not give all the answers but requires you to find out truth for yourself.  Search the scriptures for in them you will find the truth and the truth will set you free. Oh devil, how dare you say that I am offended by the word of my God, I pray to my father in secret and my father who sees me in secret will reward me openly.   I am offended by your unrighteousness. You will steal no more secrets from my family.”

I’m not even sure that this entire post will make it onto Google +, but I know that this is a good study to continue.  I know that God wants me to put it in the book that I am writing.  I thank God for the lesson as I continue to walk with and dedicate my life to his will.  I am inclined to do a study on the role of the woman in the church, but this post was just a lesson on resisting the enemy.  You have to fight back with scripture, the word of God.  I am nothing and no one without Christ, but I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

This study and the scriptures mostly came from Romans.  Read the whole book of Romans.  Also: St. John 1:4-5 (darkness cannot understand light)
Romans 1:16
Romans Chpt 2: judging, the law, and the jew
Romans Chpt 7:5-6
Romans Chpt 8:2 read all of chapter 8-good stuff!
Romans 9:6
Romans 10:4. 10:10
Romans: 13:1 the authority of highest power of God
Romans Chapter 16 Paul mentions and honors the women serving in the church
Romans chpt 16:17-19 Avoid these evil doers who seek to deceive the hearts of the babes in Christ. Corinthians 2:12-16 What does it mean to be spiritually minded?
Galations 5:17-23  If you are led by the spirit you are not under the law.
Matthew 5:20 righteousness of the Pharisees/ also read what they do in front of men to be heard for their much speaking . . .Matt. 6:5-8

I pray that this guides you in your walk with the Lord.  I pray that this brings you closer to finding your purpose.
Until next time

Live Life Day 52: Knowing the Power of our words

Day 52

2-21-2017

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10

What ever you believe in your heart, you will confess with your mouth.  These words will manifest themselves in your life as truth.  This is law. So, now you must ask yourself an important question: "What do I believe?"

You can believe and view the world three ways: One through natural eyes, second through carnal eyes and the other through spiritual eyes.

When you see things with your natural eyes, you see things ignorantly not really knowing truth but instead excepting every stimulus that is presented to you.  You then take that information and form a false truth about yourself and the life that you are living.  What ever you think you are supposed to live, that is the way you will live.  "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"

But why is this?  It is because we were made this way.  When we receive outside stimuli from the world around us we absorb it into our subconscious, we then create a truth, then we act it out however our brain interprets that truth for the world to see.  This is how we are wired.  How we think is how we will act.  How you think is how you will talk.  So be very careful when someone shows you who they are, they're not lying to you.

Now when someone sees things through their carnal eyes they receive outside stimuli from the world, but something about it doesn't seem right.  But instead of rejecting the ignorance, the carnal minded person continues to operate in a false state of reality. It takes time for the carnal mind to hear the voice of the holy spirit.  Therefore it takes time to see the work that God is doing in an already salvaged life of a carnally minded person.

There is something spectacular though when you are born again with a new spirit, a spirit that requires a different stimulus.  A born again spirit needs the power of the holy spirit to tell it the real truth.  This truth is then understood by the subconscious and then interpreted for the world to see.  The world sees a Christ life, a life full of fruits of the spirit.  When you see attributes of the spirit like love, patience, meekness, and joy, then you know what that person believes in his heart.  When a person knows who they are in Christ, then this is the example of seeing with spiritual eyes.

Now, I said that to ask this:  What do you believe?  What kind of eyes are you viewing the world with?  Do you believe that you are uniquely made for a purpose?

If you start believing that you and the people around you are made for a purpose, then maybe you would stop speaking negatively about them and about yourself.  Know the power of your words.

I pray that these words get you to think about your purpose and also bring you closer to it.

Live Life Day 51: Knowing the Power of our words.

2-20-2017
Day 51

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalms 19:14

Why would David say this?  Because he understood the power of his words.  He knew that he was responsible for speaking death or life into his life.  He understood that what he was thinking and speaking was important to God.  Meditation is thinking on something over and over.  So, what happens when you meditate on worry and fear?  You will attract negative things into your life.  But when you start meditating on the word of God day and night like the lord commanded, then you will attract and see his many blessings.  Know the power of your words.

I saw this post on google + and thought that it was very fitting, especially to me being a writer:

"Words to me were magic. You could say a word and it could conjure up all kinds of images or feelings or a chilly sensation or whatever. It was amazing to me that words had this power."
~ Amy Tan (writer &Author of the Joy Luck Club)

Words are amazing.  What kind of words are you using in your everyday life?  What kind of thoughts are you thinking.  Is God the redeemer of your mind and thoughts?  Remember, this is a thinking week!  Be blessed.

Live Life Day 50: Knowing the power of your words

Day 50
2-19-2017

Power of Words

"Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." Proverbs 27:1

We need to stop speaking what we think is going to happen to us because usually we think negatively, we can't help it because it is programmed in us.  But if we talk to God first and actually hear him, he will tell us exactly what to say in order to speak the peace that we desire.

Learn to know the power of your words. . .

I was talking to my mom this evening about prayer and how to pray.  God has shared with me that many of us are praying wrong because we don't know the power of our words.  There are different types of prayer, yes, but this is not what I'm referring to.  When you pray, it is important to first set the atmosphere to allow your heart to be open to God's voice. Next, you have to listen to God's voice so that he can tell you what you need to pray for.  Then you have to speak the words out loud because he has given you the authority in this realm to claim your request or decrees.  We are of a priestly line which means we are Kings and Queens.  When royalty speaks, knowing the authority that they have, the kingdom listens and abides by the laws that the King makes.  You have that type of power.  You have that type of authority.  You just don't believe it.  Who will follow a King who doesn't know his own power.  Learn to know the power of your words . . .

Think about these things.  This is going to be a thinking week.

Life Life Day 48/49: Affirm and edify your children

Day 48/49

2-18-2017

I wanted to add an important thought . . .

#12 I want to go back to the idea of us teaching our children how to say affirmations.  I think it is very important to speak positive things over our children’s lives.  I think it is even more important to teach them how to speak positive things over their own lives.  I have heard some of my student’s parents call their kids dumb! “You dummy,” “Don’t be a moron,” “You’re such an idiot.”  Our children do not need to hear this kind of talk.  The school system is already conditioning them to think they are inadequate because they don’t fit into the mold of compliance.  Let us encourage them by teaching them to say good things about themselves:

The children can say:

“I am what God says I am and I can be what God says I can be”

“I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath”

“I am smart, I am talented and God gave me a purpose on this earth.”

“I have authority to be all I can be for Christ Jesus.”

The parents can say:

“I thank God for a child as smart as you.”

“You are a blessing.”

“You are uniquely made for God’s purpose.”

“You are special, and made special for God.”

“I love you”

“I am pleased with your effort”

You can find this week's full article on artteacher4purpose.com.  It is also a great resource for learning about the laws of God and how following them.  This site and it's resources can lead you to finding and fulfilling your purpose.

day 47: 11 Quick ways to apply the use of affirmations in your life.

2-17-2017

Let's jump right in on our study about using positive words to change our lives.  Many of us are aware that negative words are not healthy because they tear down and put us in bad moods.  Most Christians at least try to be positive people.  But what you may not realize is that we often unconsciously speak negative things just because we are used to that way of thinking.

Have you ever told your self or a close friend:  "I just don't know how we are going to find the money for this trip," or "I can't seem to get this thing right,"  or  "I don't know what his problem is?!"

I don't and I can't are negative starters that are often programmed in our minds.  I understand that most of us try to be positive and we may know what that sounds like but are we really putting it into practice?

We have been talking about the power of words, so I want to share some techniques with you to help you reprogram your mind to think positive.  Let us talk about affirmations.

An affirmation is an positive and inspirational statement that trains your subconscious mind to believe such statement as truth.  When spoken out loud and repeated often it could really change your life.  We are going to start with some "I am" and "I can" affirmations. Then we will move into some other biblically based affirmations of truth.

11 Quick ways to apply the use of affirmations in your life:

#1 Instead of saying something like "I'm so tired" when you wake up in the morning, say:

"I am awake and full of energy!"

and keep saying it until your body gets used to getting up and being happy to start the day.

#2 Be thankful that you woke up in the morning and really see the blessing for what it is.  God has decided to give you another day . . . Glory to God!

"I am thankful that God woke me up this morning and started me on my way."

#3 Always be mindful of who you are as God's creation and the strength that he has given you to do what you need to do.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

#4 You are more than a conqueror and you were made for a purpose.  Therefore it is time to start claiming these truths by speaking them into existence.

"I am confident"

"I am bold"

"I am successful"

"I am a problem solver"

"I am a conqueror"

#5  Let's also stop saying "I can't" statements and start saying "I can."

"I can be debt free"

"I can be happy"

"I can do it"

#6 We often say that we can't find anything to wear when we look in our closets.  The truth is that we keep telling ourselves that, and we start to believe it.  You really have an over flow of what you need, so let us change the conversation that we have with ourselves.

"I live in abundance."

"God supplies all of my needs."

"I live in the overflow, my cup runneth over"

#7 I used to lose my keys all the time.  Sometimes it would make me late for work.  When I learned about affirmations, and when ever I would misplace my keys, I would repeat to myself "I find things, I find things."  After doing this for 2 months, I no longer loose my keys, but I find things, all kinds of things: money, deals, information, books, people.  When ever I want to find something that I don't remember right where it is, I just start saying "I find things," and sure enough I find it. So if your looking for a job, a husband, or some money, claim it!

"I find things"

"I finish things"

"I deserve positive things to happen in my life."

#8 The following are some personal affirmations that I say everyday to encourage myself.  I suggest you make some personalized affirmations in order to stay motivated or to remind yourself of a specific goal that you have.

"I am blessed and highly favored"

"I am a beautiful talented young woman of God."

"My children and my husband call me blessed."

"I am an international best selling author"

#9  It is important that you state your affirmations with boldness and clarity and with purpose.  I believe my affirmations because they are connected with promises from the bible.  I believe the bible.  The affirmations are helping me increase my faith and helping me to be bold in my claims.

"I am the head and not the tail."

"I am above and not beneath"

#10 Always remember who you are and talk to God and find out what your purpose is.  When you line up with the purpose that God has for you, then you know that you are blessed.  I teach my children to say this next affirmation:

"I am smart, I am talented, I am blessed and highly favored."

#11 No weapon formed against you will prosper.  You must believe this and speak it into existence.  These last two affirmations are encouragement affirmations because I know who I am and I know my purpose:

"No weapon formed against me shall prosper"

Day 46 Live Life: "Wisdom is knowing the power of words"

Day 46

I tell my students all the time "Words are Powerful."  We did an art lesson on power words.  I wanted the kids to explain, what were power words and how we could speak power in our lives.  The most common words that the children chose were love, wisdom, and peace. We should all be aware that these indeed are powerful words by themselves.  We can also develop loving, wise and peaceful statements to speak these same things into our lives.

I asked my students, how could they use these words to help motivated other people?  I explained that when we speak positive words, we make positive things happen in our lives and into other peoples lives.  So instead of practicing speaking negative things, speak some positive words into your life.

I want you to come up with some loving, wise, and peaceful statements that you can make part of your every day conversation.  Now, this conversation can be with your self or with others, up to you!

The more you speak powerful positive words, the more you start believing these words for your life!

Yesterday, we talked about speaking success in our lives and I wanted to clarify somethings:

I had said that it is important to speak positive things in your life even if you didn't believe them.  I want everyone to understand that I'm not saying you should try to speak positively then if you forget sometimes then that is ok. No, If you want to change your life you have to make a conscious effort to change your way of thinking so that those positive words of encouragement and motivation flow easily and naturally.   You have to focus on your goal of changing your speech. You have to work on this everyday!

When you change your speech you will change your belief processes.  This does not happen over night but instead it takes practice.  You have to study and you have to plan.  This blog is a start, but I want to encourage you to browse the intranet for something called affirmations and declarations.

Affirmations and declarations are the positive words of encouragement that you are going to start saying in order to train your mind to not only start thinking positively but to start believing with faith that those things that you speak are going to come to pass.

Tomorrow I will share with you some great affirmations that will get you started on your journey to positive thinking and speaking.  But before I do that I want you to write down a personal affirmation.  An affirmation is just a positive statement that you declare as truth and you repeat it until you train your mind to believe it.  I want you to get a better understanding of what affirmations are used for. So just take a role at it.  Leave a comment if you feel you have a good one. We will also line up some scriptures with understanding affirmations, declarations, and the power of spoken word.

Pray that this helps you on your journey to find your purpose.

Live Life Day 45

2-15-2017

I pray that everyone reading this is being blessed.  I pray that you are being fed words of encouragement that lead to your growth in the Lord.

Yesterday we looked at Dr. Tony Evans Video about "Getting our Minds to Believe Like God."  This takes time to get our perspective to line up to God's purpose and plan for our lives.  I want to highlight some key points to that video incase you didn't get a chance to watch the entire thing:

1) God has a plan for you
2) We are fighting a spiritual battle that has already been won
3) We need to learn how to operate in the spiritual to fix what is wrong in the physical
4) Developing our relationship with God allows us to operate in the spiritual realm
5) When we allow God to transfer our understanding to spiritual, we then tap into our power
6) Worry is meditation on fear that bad things that will happen, which then allows it to manifest in the physical realm (our lives)
7) We can use our words to speak truth into our lives.  This power allows us to change things in the spiritual realm, which then changes things in the natural realm in which we live.

Stop worrying and start having faith that all things will work out for the good!

I want to share with you how important words are when you are looking to make a change in your life.  Basically, you can tell what you believe when you start speaking it all the time.  If you believe that you are going to be happy, then you will be happy.  If you think you will be broke and never get out of debt then you probably speak it all the time and therefore confirm the declaration of poverty and lack.

We have to stop speaking negative things into our lives and start speaking with power, faith, and love.

The word of God says that we are foolish if we keep speaking negative things in our lives when he has laid out the plan and showed us everything that we have to do in order to fight against the wiles of the enemy.

"A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul," Proverbs 18:7

Even if you don't really believe the positive words that you are going to start to speaking, eventually you will train your mind to start thinking in a positive way.  When you keep repeating a positive message it will start to make a change in your mind!

I want to share this video with you, it is about 30min, watch it when you get a chance.  It is about speaking success in your life by speaking and believing in the words that you say.

I pray that this blog is making a positive change in your life.  I pray that you are one step closer in finding your purpose.

Live Life Day 44- Happy Valentines Day

2-14-2017

Happy Valentines Day! I pray that your life continues to be filled with love.  If you don't think that your life is full of love, let me tell you about how much God loves you . . .

The word says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believeth on him, shall not perish but have ever lasting life."  John 3:16

This is a very common scripture and I think sometimes we don't really meditate on the gravity of the price that Jesus paid on the cross.  More so, the pain that God had to go through watching his beloved son being tortured and killed.  Can you imagine losing a child in that way and watching it all happen in front of your eyes?  Can you imagine being responsible for allowing your only child to go through such pain?  Well, that is the thing, God allowed this to happen in order to save us from our self destruction.  God loved us that much and cared for our survival that he allowed his only son to suffer.  I thank God for his sacrifice.  I thank God for loving me that much.

Hence, I will always strive to please the Lord because I understand the price that was paid for me to live.  Therefore brothers and sisters, although the work is already done through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we should understand that we still have work to do.  The work is not to fix, or to help God but instead to fix our understanding of God so that he can fix and help us.

Before we start talking about the power of our words, and how they can hinder or help us in our journey of learning more about God's plan, I want to share a video with you that will help lay a foundation of who God is and what his plan is all about.

3 points that I would like to make are:

1- God Loves You.
2- God requires a relationship with you to understand his perspective.
3- You have more power than what you know.

Hope this motivates you to find you purpose and to share it with the world.  Yes, you are that important and you are loved.

Live Life Day 43: Words are Powerful

2-12-2017

Words are Powerful

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it  shall eat from the fruit thereof."
Proverbs 18:21

This means that we have to be very careful about the words that we speak.

This week I am going to share  with you the power of words.  For the last 42 days I have been sharing quotes from a daily calendar that I found at the flea market . . . it is starting to let me down because I'm not agreeing with all of the quotes.  We have to be very careful of what we feed our spirit.  Sometimes things can sound real good to the ear but it won't line up with God's word.  If it contradicts God's word, then it is not truth and we must throw it out.  It is important that our motivation lines up with the word of God.

We don't want to get counsel from the ungodly and therefore we don't want to sow a seed that is not of God.  We have to be very careful to plant good seed into our spirits so that the right type of fruit grows up within us.  I talked about the fruits of the spirit before in a past post.  You can read about those fruits in Galatians 5:22.  But in short, we want to read and study the word of God so that the spirit of the Lord can continue to grow in us.  When we see things like love, peace, joy, and patience in our lives, then we know that we are planting the right kind of seed.

This is the thing, we have to start making a conscious effort of putting the right things in our minds and hearts so that we can start calling the right things into our life.  This is what I am going to be talking about this week. I want to help you change your life by helping you plant the right seed in order to change your thinking habits and therefore your speaking habits.

The word of God is seed, it can also be water, and it is also the tool to condition the soil. Your body is the soil that holds your soul and your spirit.  God wants to condition your soil so that he can plant a good seed in your spirit.  He also wants us to understand this law and how it works for us.  But in order to grasp these concepts in full we have to study the real power of the word of God.

What scriptures do you know that explain how powerful our words are?

Follow along this week, I believe this will be a good study.

I pray that this is helpful in your journey to find your purpose.

Live Life Day 42 /8 ways to fight that feeling of anxiety/ tips for Christian Living

Day 41 quote "Live well, laugh often and love much"

#7 Memorize scripture

#7 I memorize scripture because I know who I am fighting against.  When ever I feel anxious or overwhelmed I know that that spirit does not come from the Lord, instead it is the tempter coming to distract me from what I need to be doing.  The only way to deal with temptation is to hit him with the one two punch: the word of God.  You can go out swinging if you want to and try to do it on your own, but you will loose.  You need to put the power of the word in your memory, so when hard things come up in your life you know what to say:

For example you may hear:

You didn't get the job because you weren't qualified: "I'm the head and not the tail, I'm above and not beneath." (Deuteronomy 28:13)

You just aren't good enough: "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

It's too scary, and you are all alone: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for thou art with me.  Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me . . ." (Psalms 23)

It's not going to happen for you, you should just give up: "I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ." (Philippians 3:14)

God isn't going to bless you, everything is going wrong in your life : "The Lord blesses me and keeps me.  The Lord makes his face shine upon me and is gracious unto me.  The Lord lifts his countenance upon me and gives me peace." (Numbers 6:22)

#8 Keep the Sabbath day

#8 I mentioned that I have a refresh day, Saturday, which is a Sabbath day for the Lord.  I sing, I pray, I study and I read.  Well the things that I read are things that God sends me to read.  I read the bible and also different books.  I have shared some books with you on this blog so go back and check some of those titles out.  I also am working on creating a compiled list of great books that I have read along with my thoughts on each.  You can check that out soon on artteacher4purpose.com.

Some of my all time favorite books thus far are "Jump", "The Purpose Driven Life" and "Crazy Love"

You should pray about it and ask God what books are specifically written for you.

Live Life Day 41  8 ways to fight the feeling of anxiety

2-10-2017

Day 41 quote "This is the beginning of anything you want"

Scripture  "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal,  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. . . For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:20-21

#5 Plan Time For Yourself

#5 Plan time for yourself.  All work and no play will burn you out.  People, work, and family will run you into the ground if you let them, so after you learned how to say no to other people, learn to say yes to yourself.  I know that this does not sound biblical, but God does not want you to be stressed out!

I'm learning to take time for myself.  I've been trying to get my hair done for the last few weeks.  So I am going to take a day, do my hair, get a massage, and go to the movies.  I need a me day.  Really,  I will not feel guilty because I had this massage gift card in my wallet for a year and a half.  I always put other people ahead of myself, but I am going to start taking some time out for me.

Here’s the thing, I don’t want anyone to get confused.  I'm not saying to make everything about you, but I am saying don't make everything about everyone else but God.  God needs you fully energized and ready to go for his purpose, not anyone else's.

I’m the type of person that will work 24/7 if I don’t tell myself that I need to go to sleep.  I often find myself neglecting my family, my husband, and my household responsibilities because I get caught up in helping other people. The Lord is teaching me balance. There has to be balance in everything you do. So when I say that you should  take time for yourself,  you should if you don’t already do so. If you do already then good for you. Remember your priorities: God always comes first.  You should learn how to create and keep that balance in your life.

#6 Keep the Sabbath Day

#6 Speaking of taking sometime out for yourself.  Every week I take some me time.  I get my bible and my books and I just read and study spending time with God.  Every Saturday.  Don't ask me to cook or go anywhere because it is my time to rejuvenate and refresh.  If I do have to go outside of my house it needs to be work for the Lord.  This is my Sabbath day.  This is the day that the Lord blessed me with all types of inspiration and ideas.  I am in my happy space.  This is probably the only day that I take a nap.  It is a lovely relaxing day with the Lord.

Sometimes it is ok to have some me time, especially when your heart is centered in the Lord.  He wants you to have that personal time with him.  Allow him to guide you, keep you, and progress you through this thing called life.  He does not want you to be stressed out by the worries of this world.

"Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-8

You can check out 7&8 before I post it on Blogger!  The complete full article will be on artteacher4pupose.com sometime tomorrow.  Just go to the website then click on FREE ARTICLES at the top of the page and 8 ways to fight the feeling of anxiety should be at the very top. . . enjoy.

I pray that this is helpful to you on your journey to find your purpose.

Live Life Day 40: 8 ways to fight that feeling of anxiety- #4

Day 40 quote "Shoot for the moon and if you fall short you'll still be a star"

Scripture "Obedience is better than sacrifice." I Samuel 15:22

8 ways to fight that feeling of anxiety . . . # 4

#4 Learn how to say NO!

#4 I'm usually the yes girl.  You ask me for a favor, and although I don't have the time to do it, I will say yes.  Usually I would just gripe about it in the confines of my own mental unhappiness, but today I am going to vent.  I am completely tired of being taking advantage of!

This past week was ridiculous.  I had everybody asking me for a favor and I was committing myself to a different obligation each day.  None of these commitments had anything to do with what I had to do for myself.  I had important things that I had to accomplish for God, my family, the youth ministry etc. . . I could not do any of these things because I was afraid of what someone might think of me if I said no to their request.  So I said yes, and I became burned out.

God doesn't want us to feel overwhelmed.

God doesn't want us to be taken advantage of.

God directed me to I Samuel, where Saul was instructed to kill the Amalekites and everything in the land.  Instead Saul spared their king, Agag, and he let the people keep the best of the sheep, oxen and other livestock.  Now usually after a war the winner would collect the spoils of the war.  However, God's instruction to Saul was to kill everything because everything in the land was evil.

So, King Saul went against the Lord's directions that were directly given to him by the prophet Samuel.  Saul did his own thing. Saul claimed it was a sacrifice for the Lord, but Samuel told Saul that the Lord was displeased with his disobedience.  Here is the clincher,  Saul said that it was the people who disobeyed.  He said the people started taking the best of the livestock and he was afraid to tell them no.

"Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of the rams . . ."  I Samuel 15:22

Putting God first is for our own good.

I used to think that it was my Christian duty to be of service to others.  It makes me feel good inside to help others when they are in need.  It is a good thing to help others, especially when  God places it on your heart to do so;  but if God set you on a mission to do something for him and you don't do it, then be ready to reap the consequences. It is better to listen to the voice of the Lord than to think you are doing him a favor by doing something else.

It is Ok to tell people no.  Like my Mentor Asha Tyson always says "no, is a one word sentence!"

We have to remember a surrendered life means you do what the Lord says do when he says do it.  Anything that goes against that is not of the Lord.

I hope this was helpful in your journey.  Check in tomorrow for #'s 5-7

Live Life day 39: 8 ways to fight that feeling of anxiety . . . #'s 1-3

2-8-2017

Day 39 quote "Turn 'can't' into 'can' and dreams into plans"

Scripture "Where there is no vision the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18

8 ways to fight that feeling of anxiety . . . # 1-3

#1Talk to God

#1 I take the time to talk to God every morning.  Some may call it prayer, I call it venting.  I need to tell the Lord my problems, my mistakes, my plans, my hopes, and my dreams. Then I get quiet and allow him to tell me if I am on the right track or not. If I happen to skip a morning than I can feel the difference in my day.  My day feels sluggish and misdirected.  So, talking to the Lord is a must for me.

#2 Clean Up

#2 Your surroundings are a manifestation of what is going on in your head.  If you find your self in a mess then your mind is probably a mess.  If you see that your space isn't necessarily organized, then start putting things in the right place.  If you are overwhelmed with too much stuff, then start throwing stuff away or giving it away.  Chances are you really don't need it.  So, just get rid of it and you will get rid of that anxious feeling.

#3 Write things down on paper

#3 Understand that just because you clean up your physical surroundings doesn't mean that your mind is going to be free from the clutter.  Cleaning will help relief stress but it is not going to fix the problem in your mind.  You must now address the problem that causes the clutter in your physical space.  You do this just my writing things down.

I have to write everything down that is busy flying around my mind breaking things and causing chaos.  I have to make a to do list.  I have to write down my goals.  I have to make and keep a schedule.  This is just how I am wired if I want to stay calm.  I tried winging it before, but I just can't live like that all the time.  I suggest that you write things down to know what you have to do.  If you get organized in your mind, than your physical surroundings will stay organized.

I found an awesome resource for you.  It is called prayerforanxiety.com.  This is a blog I just recently found by exploring pinterest and thought it was very fitting for this post.  The sight contains all types of prayers to help motivate you through what ever trial you are going through. . .

Live Life Day 38

2-7-2017

Day 38 "Give this world good energy"

Scripture: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thine ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

I'm not always altogether nor do I have things all figured out.  I feel kind of overwhelmed at times like I'm doing so much and too much.  Most of the time, I do it to myself, I stress myself out for no reason at all.  Either I'm working too hard and don't take any breaks or I'm not working hard enough and I feel like I can do more.  The Lord is teaching me step by step how to get through these days.  I want to share with you some things that help me over come these feelings of anxiety:

1) I take time out to talk to God.
2) I clean up my surroundings.
3) I write things down.
4) I tell people "No."
5) I plan time for myself.
6) I have a refresh day with the Lord.
7) I memorize scripture.
8) I read to get Godly advice.

For the next three days I will go into detail about what these things mean.  Remember, I'm a Christian so it is all related to serving Jesus.  I want to show and teach you what God is teaching me.  So, if you like my blog, go ahead and follow me, share, and like.  Leave a comment or prayer request if this is helping you get through this thing we call life.

So, here's the thing, everyone needs a little encouragement from time to time so I will keep putting the quotes from the calendar in the post.  I will no longer try to correspond with the quote itself because I kind of feel like it is putting me in a box.  Sometimes the quotes are really good but other times I don't agree with them . . .  The quotes are from a day to day 2017 calendar with encouraging quotes and phrases collected by Sandra Magsamen.  You can check out her product line at sandramagsamen.com.

I'm also going to try very hard to incorporate a scripture, probably one that I am trying to learn that week, to encourage you.  I suggest that you also learn scripture and commit it to memory so that you can arm yourself against the enemy when he comes to attack.  But I will talk about that more later this week.

This walk is for real and I'm getting ready to take it up a notch.  So follow me so that we can follow Christ together.

Until Next Time
