I bind any curse that I have spoken against myself, against my family, or any person doing the will of my father in Heaven.  I no longer speak against anyone's purpose.  Let any words that the accuser tries to use against me be caste down and destroyed.  Lord forgive me for the things that I spoke in ignorance.  Continue to guide me in spirit and in truth.  Let this be lifted up and made whole and made complete.  May I continue to speak things in existence that is the will of my father.  May the Lord's will be done so that his kingdom will come. We are in a foreign language course:

We are students of the Lord-studying his word-understanding it through our interpreter the Holy Spirit.  We should be listening and following the instruction of the teacher- reading, writing, speaking, and sharing this language with others.  We should be practicing it everyday so that we can speak it in it's original tongue.  Listening carefully to the accent and learning the dialect of the Holy Spirit.  We need to understand the region, and the culture from which this language originated.  Then and only then will we be prepared to speak with the locals once we leave this place. . .

When we know the word of God . . . I mean really know it, then we are downloading that in our spirit.  We are using the same mind as Christ and fighting against the enemy with power and wisdom . . .We have to stop hoping that we are doing the right thing but know that we are doing the right thing!!

Happy New Years Eve 2017. . .

Hi all,

To tell you the truth, I did not feel like getting out of the bed this morning, but I did.  I didn't feel like going on my walk this morning, but I did.  I didn't "feel" like getting dressed and going to church this morning, but I did . . . well, I went in my PJ's but I don't think anyone noticed!

You may have noticed that I have not been writing and posting like my usual self, and that is because I lost my dad on the 9th and I haven't been my regular self . . . I haven't been feeling like doing much of anything.  I'm up, then I'm down.  However, I know that I can get through this with the help of my Lord and savior . . .

I have a goal every month to write at least 15 post.  I almost told my self that I will just do it tomorrow, but tomorrow will be January 1st.  If I made a goal, I will keep it.  This is something that I will keep doing through out the new year of 2018 . . .

If you make a vow, then keep your vow! 

Now since I have to get ready for church in 20 min.  I have to think of something quick . . .  ok . . . I'm looking back on my journals now and I am going to share with you 10 thoughts of 2017 . . .

Your words are powerful, so the things that come out of your mouth are sacred.  We ought not say things that contradict our promises. . . when we say things that contradict, they then fight against each other and can be used against us.  This creates curses in your life. . . The enemy can legally use your words against you in the Kingdom court. . . Why? . . . because it is written law: When a man vows a vow unto the Lord, let him do everything that he says.

Motivation for Monday: There is Life in Death

  Greetings and Salutations

 

I just finished having a weekend full of both laughter and tears.  A weekend full of hugs of joy and hugs of remorse.  I was able to visit and spend time with a lot of family that I have not seen in awhile.  However, there was one person missing in the excitement of it all; this is the one person that has bought us all together many times before. . .

It is with deep regret and sorrow that I announce the passing of my father, Rev. Mycother A. McKnight Jr. December 9, 2017.  He has lived a life dedicated to teaching the word of God.  He was known for keeping the family together and he was know for his many words of wisdom. He lived a life full of the passion of sharing the Word of God.  There was nothing boring about my dad.  He was a very entertaining person.  He will be greatly missed, but we know that he has went on to a better place. . .

Here is the motivation . . .

Be strong and of Good Courage

We lose people everyday, people die.  We know that this is going to happen yet we are incredibly distraught when we feel like a life is cut short or cheated out of time in any way.  Sometimes we get made because we are so hurt by the circumstances of death.  I want to let you know that after I got out of the shock of it all that God has filled me with a peace that surpasses all understanding.  He has filled me with the joy of knowing that I will see my father again in the Heavenly Kingdom!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

John 14:1-4

He is preparing a place for us!

We have to look at the patterns of life.  We are here because God has determined us to be here.  We are alive because God has predestined us to be alive.  The essence of us have traveled down a long tunnel of darkness before in order to find the egg so that we can grow in our mother's womb.  We traveled down a tunnel again into the light of the world, to which our mother nurtured us and watched us grow into the adults we become in the future.  We will once again enter into a tunnel that will lead us into another light.  We will enter into the heavenly realm where we will once again be taught, and trained to continued our journey of growth.  We need to notice the patterns and not think that we know everything just yet.  Instead, we need to trust in God's design and trust in his purpose for us.

God has this whole thing mapped out just perfectly and I thank him for giving me the father that he had giving me.  I thank him for matching him up with my mother and her big heart.  I thank him for setting us in the direction that he needed us to grow.  I thank God for writing this story.  God already knows the entrance date and the exit date for each and everyone of us.  He has written it for a purpose.

So I want to share with you something that the preacher said during the eulogy of my dad's home going service.  He said something to the fact that God has written our destiny and knows when we are coming in and when we are going out. So, we ought to stop giving the enemy credit for what the Lord has written already.

There is Life in Death!!

When I think about it that way, I rejoice for God's plan and I dare not get distracted by not dealing with the feelings that I feel.  The enemy's job is to make us believe a lie about death that is not true.  We have been trained to look at death in this life as the end.  But it is not the end!!!  Our God is a God of Life!!  So when someone's spirit is leaving this earth, it is actually going into life . . . a more abundant life.  A better life, the next step of incubation and birth . . .

We have to recognized the patterns!!!

The enemy's job is just to get us thinking about things in the wrong way.  He has fooled the whole world.  It is our job as Christians to change minds back to the rightful way of thinking.  We have to get on God's plan . . .

When I first lost my dad, I was in shock.  I wasn't really believing what was happening was really happening.  I was keeping busy with the funeral arrangements and almost forgot what I was really planning for.  I was in a daze and when ever I thought of my dad not being here anymore, I broke down and fell into pieces.  I just cried and cried and cried.  But God helped me identify and deal with those feelings.  He told me that we are supposed to feel this way and let these feelings wake us up to the shortness of time that we have in this world.  He told me that I have a purpose, it is time to refocus and not get detracted by the things in this world.  Instead, we have to concentrate on getting people into the next world.  There are many challenges that lie ahead but these types of events make us stronger.  It helps us to focus on what is important.

It was not a good feeling that I was feeling when I lost my dad.  At first I was in a fog, I didn't feel like eating and I didn't really feel like talking to anyone, not even God.   When I started to come out of it,  I thought "Is this how people feel when they lose someone very close to them?"  Then I went on to think "How do people do this, especially if they don't know Jesus?"  Then it hit me like a ton of bricks;  the world is in such pain and anguish because of the incredible loss that it feels everyday.  People try to self medicated, drown their sorrows, or just withdraw from the world.  Other people just go crazy because they never dealt with their burdens of loss . . .

I want to tell you today to give your burdens to the Lord. 

 He will carry the Heavy Load!!

 

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30 

I am changing my mind about death, about this world, about this life.  I am changing my mind about this whole thing.  I will mourn, because that is what I am supposed to do.  There are many out there trying to kill me and kill my purpose . . . But the heart of an evil man will try to do a lot of things that will complete his agenda, however, it is only God's purpose that will come into completion.

Remember this

You are here for a purpose.  A purpose that God has already written for you.  A destiny that has already been figured out.  Your spirit will not enter eternal rest until you have completed your destiny.

Live your life on Purpose!

Teacher Tuesday: What is the value of Y.

Teacher Tuesday:

I just made that up . . . it has a nice ring to it.  I was trying to go with throwback Tuesday, but I think that will go better with Thursday . .

Any who

I love the Lord.  He is awesome.  And guess what? He knows each and everyone of us!  He knows our personality, our gifts, and our path.  He knows exactly what we are going to do next because he is of infinite intelligence.  He has already written the equation and he has already solved the problem.  He knows where you end up.

Do you want to know what I think about when I think of how God knows what we are going to do?  I just think of those genius mathematicians that write those long equations on the chalk board trying to solve those great math problems.  It is easy for them because they notice the patterns in the numbers.  These great minds have a gift and the only thing they have to do is work through the problem by applying the formulas and doing the work.  Everything will calculate out and the problem will be solved.

What about free will?

Yes, we have free will, but just because we change the problem we will still get the answer that God has written for us.  For example, your free will is represented on the left, and the answer (your destiny) is on the right.  Hence,

2+2+2+1=7

3+4= 7

2*6 /3 +3=7

Therefore, what ever you decide to do with your life is your choice, but the outcome of your answer has already been predestined.

God has a Beautiful Mind:

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me oh God, How great are the sum of them!

Psalms 139:17

Well, that is how I picture God, but instead, he is infinite times beyond that.  I just mean "Genius" beyond measure.  With that said, would it be so impossible to believe that he has written the greatest math problem of all time.  He thought of and designed the problem . . . he created the formulas for the problem . . . there is a log rhythm to the problem.  He has made the problem so beautiful that it can work it's own self out if it just applies the formulas, identify the patterns, and follows the rules of solving for the missing variables.

This is my message to you

Learn what the problem is. Follow the instructions of the teacher who is going to give you the rules, the missing variables, and all the necessary equations to solve the problem. Practice solving the problem.  Finally realize you need Jesus to solve the problem.

 

Everything is an analogy you guys.  Everything in this world is representation of what is going on in the spiritual.  I am going to keep it simple today by emphasizing this point:

 

You are a spirit living in a body of Flesh.

X=Flesh

Y=Spirit

 

The main issue with living in this world is that we are all trying to solve for X.  We are trying to figure out the wrong problem.  We need to address the Spiritual aspect of the problem and let God do the rest.  Realizing that you cannot solve the problem by your self is the first solution to your salvation.

That equation he made pretty easy.

 

(original y)- x+Surrendering your mind to Christ = (y)Salvation

or

(original y) - x+(Faith+Confession)+ The Blood= (y)Salvation

or

(original y)- x(experience)time % + repentance/ Changed mind/ life= (y)Salvation 

or

Some people's equations are longer because they make it longer for themselves. You don't have to understand why it works.  You just need to give your yes answer to the Lord. Give your answer and God will show us why later.

Say yes to your salvation! 

I said it was going to be simple, maybe that wasn't that simple in our natural perspective.  But it really is.  God thought of an answer.  He considered all the different variables.  He designed a problem on PURPOSE!!  It will be solved because he already has the answer.

The Answer is JESUS

now everything is just being worked out according to God's purpose for this whole thing.

 

The Purpose is to isolate the Y and increase it's value.  Better yet, make known the value of Y.

 

Question: Who is Man?

 

"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet"

Psalms 8-3-6

 

 "The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand."

Isaiah 14:24

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Jeremiah 29:11

God has thought this thing through, he calculated, and counted the cost.  There is an end to this world and a new beginning in the next.  It is all Good, the answer for your spirit is still JESUS!

 

Question:

How do we solve for our spirit salvation?

 

Answer:

We actually don't . . . our responsibility is to believe and let God plug in the numbers (which is ourselves after we had a spiritual change).  God will solve the rest.  His equation is much more complicated then anything we could understand right now. 

Trust God

Next Question to ponder:  Do you know your value?

Learn about Jesus and learn about who you are by reading your word.  He will lead you to your purpose.

I have more to say about this video but want to share it right away. Someone sent this to me via messenger, but I also found it on Youtube. I am a writer and God is giving me some good material for my next book "Little Black Boy."  Check out what this southern preacher says about African Americans in this country.  Don't get it twisted he is a man of God.  This is not a racist comment . . . His church is not a "White" Church, his church is a Gold church!!

Motivation for Monday: I Just Want to See His Face

I was in church yesterday and the choir sang this song entitle "I just want to see his face."  It ministered to my spirit because when it is all said and finished, I just want to be in the presence of the Lord.  I will leave everything in this world behind.  The conclusion of the matter will be me with my Lord, living everlasting life . . .

Now for the process

The process of this whole life is to live it.  We need to learn from it and grow from it.  We have to learn how to deal with trials, the up and down.  We grow from the good the bad, the work load and the push up hill.  We learn how to deal with evil people, difficult people, small minds, and selfish hearts.

So I encourage you once again to live life.  It will all be worth it in the end.

So the question that I ponder and speak with God on, on a daily bases, is "What is the Purpose of Life?"  And although I explained a little about our main goal, we must keep the process in mind for our preparation for the everlasting.  Some of us believe and some of us don't.  Some of us want to believe but we need a little more convincing.  Well I just encourage you to keep studying.  Keep searching and God will provide you with answers.

I found a great resource:  it is call GotQuestions.Org.  You can search any question that you have about the bible.  I decided to search the following question:

Question: "What does the Bible say about how to find purpose in life?"

Answer: The Bible is very clear as to what our purpose in life should be. Men in both the Old and New Testaments sought for and discovered life’s purpose. Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, discovered the futility of life when it is lived only for this world. He gives these concluding remarks in the book of Ecclesiastes: "Here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14). Solomon says that life is all about honoring God with our thoughts and lives and thus keeping His commandments, for one day we will stand before Him in judgment. Part of our purpose in life is to fear God and obey Him.

Another part of our purpose is to see life on this earth in perspective. Unlike those whose focus is on this life, King David looked for His satisfaction in the time to come. He said, "And I—in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness" (Psalm 17:15). To David, full satisfaction would come on the day when he awoke (in the next life) both beholding God's face (fellowship with Him) and being like Him (1 John 3:2).

. . . "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you" (verse 25). To Asaph, a relationship with God mattered above all else in life. Without that relationship, life has no real purpose.

And so I will go through what I have to grow through right now.  I will not retreat for my desire is to do God's will while I am here.  I will walk with him in spirit and in truth.  I love him and my relationship with him is above all else in this world. I will listen and I will obey his words and his voice.  I will help other people find their way to the Lord.  For this is the service that he wants his people to provide; to help one another and to love one another. Thank you God for your guidance because one day I will see your face!

What Do we do? We pray. . .

Woe to them that decree unrighteousness decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; to turn aside the needy from judgement, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

Isaiah 10:1-2

I had a neighbor who recently decided to kill herself because she felt that all hope was lost.  She didn’t have any money and felt she could no longer provide for her household.  She left behind her family, siblings, nieces, nephews, and her two children.  One of which found her cold body in the bed during the early the morning hours.  The enemy and his Kingdoms were busy torturing tattered souls during the night, while we slept.  It is time for us to wake up.  It is time for us to know the main weapon of our warfare.

We have a false interpretation of security.  We have a false interpretation of money.  Nothing has power over us in this world unless we give up our authority.  We let things take over our minds and our spirits and therefore our lives.  I thank God for taking me through a journey to wake up to what reality is and the false world that the enemy has created for us.

Do you remember the story of the business man in California who killed his family then killed himself because he got fired from his job.  He could not deal with the fact that he could no longer provide for his family.

I remember a few years, around 2010 when I was in school for an additional teacher certification and there was a lady who went on a venting rampage about how her husband lost his job, how they could no longer afford their cars.  She cried about how she had to go back to work and actually get a job so that they could pay for their mortgage.  I, in hearing the story wasn't too sympathetic to her plight.  Instead I told myself that she was entitled and selfish.  Living in her own personal bubble of prosperity.  I used to think “Those rich people problems boo.” Many poor people were just thankful to have a job.  I thought that a lot of people were suffering just to eat and how dare she complain about something when she still had the money to pay for school.  I'm sure many in class listening to her story felt the same way.  We felt a sense of selfishness, and self-centeredness in her speech.

We did not connect with her story nor did we sympathize.  People lose their jobs right, then they get another one.  This happens.  But what I failed to realize that so many people put their trust in this world system that they fail to notice  God.  We all are guilty.  It is only a blessing from God that we are able to live abundantly in this country.  And we are a rich country.  We all, even the poor among us are privileged compared to the rest of the world; who are struggling to live. We are conditioned with a false sense of security that can be taken away at anytime.  And when this happens, our world falls apart.  I want to let you know friends that we are one of the last free nation still standing.  The powers of darkness will soon try to have us suppressed and dependent on them.  This is happening now.  It is time to wake up.

This is the thing, our personal world does not have to fall apart.  When things go wrong in our lives we don’t have to look at the situation as hopeless.  And here is another truth,  this is not just going to happen to "other people"  it will happen to you also, because it was all part of the world plan in the first place.  We as Americans are one of the last free world countries that will start feeling the pressure of the change.  The change is thinking we have control; to the understanding that we have no control at all.

But I understand that for people who do not know God, it is very hurtful and lonely in this world.  For that I apologize that I once was not sympathetic to your situation.  I now understand not to have that “oh Well, sucks for you,” mentality.  The Lord has humbled me and out of love for those souls, I am deeply sorry for the pain that the enemy has caused you.  It is painful for me right now and I have a relationship with the Lord.  I have lost my job, I have lost most of the things I thought I was working hard for in order for my family to have a good life.  I lost one of my houses, because it just got sold in sheriff sale a few days ago.  I have a foreclosure on my credit, no health insurance, little money, but I am still at peace.  I love the lord and that gives me peace that surpasses all understanding.  Praise be to God.

The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:5-7

No, you do not have to fall apart.  Instead you can grow an understanding that God has made all things and that he is in complete control of all things.  Instead you can feel the comfort, the peace and the understanding that leaning and trusting in the Lord is the only way to really truly live. Philippians says that the Lord has the power to do all things, so you don’t have to worry about anything.  Instead, we pray with humility and give God thanks for his blessings.  When we make our request to God we can feel at peace that he will answer our prayers.  This should bring you peace in your heart.  It should keep your mind at peace.

The time is at hand

The time is at hand.  The time is coming that people will start appreciating the abundant life that they are living.  It is time that we stop taking life for granted.  This is a wonderful life! Give praise and be thankful to God for providing us with a way to live.  Yes, you have an adversary that wants to convince you otherwise, but I will have to give you some pointers in how to fight against the powers of darkness.  I am going to tell you what is going to happen and what you need to do.

We are extremely blessed.  God has placed us in this country for a reason.  The destruction and the plan for total domination by principalities and spiritual wickedness will end here. I see it clear right now, we are in a war against the evil ones that lie, steal, cheat, destroy, and set up false realities.  The Lord will have his revenge on the evil that is trying to keep us in bondage.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Isaiah 13:11

I now sympathize with those that have been taught that hell was made for them.  No, hell was made for the fallen angels who chose not to be obedient to the will of God.  Those fallen were jealous of what God had planned for us.  We have a great inheritance to claim in the everlasting.  The enemy and his kingdom are trying to cheat us out of it.  This is why the world is the way that it is, we don’t know who we are and the power that we have over spiritual wickedness.  We don’t understand the responsibility that we have over the earth.  We were supposed to keep the earth, take care of it . . . But instead we were fooled, even the whole world, to put our trust in money, in things, and in self.  All of these things are now being used against us because we don’t want to give it up.  Well, guess what, greater is my reward in heaven then the things of this earth.  I am no longer fooled, but I give it up in order to spend eternity with the Lord!

Do you know who you are?

The Lord is waking us up!

I now understand that it is hard to give up all the toys (idols), all the entertainment that keeps us in deep sleep.  It is inevitable that we wake up.  The evil kingdoms are making their move and have most Christians thinking that the end is near or that we have an escape clause that will leave every non believer here to fend for themselves.  SMH  I don't think so, this will happen and it will happen to everybody. It is the believers job to wake up the non-believers by spreading his word and his truth.  If we don’t do this, then we are good for nothing!  You are good for nothing if you go against the will of God.  Hence, you will be cast away because you have no purpose.  We need to be lined up with God’s purpose for the world.

Find your purpose!!

You will all be awake soon enough.  And for those who will remain sleep . .  you will try to go along with the world plan the best you can, until you are enslaved by the hunger of stability and provision.  However you can not provide in the world that the enemy has prepared for you.  You were not meant to survive in his world.  In that world,  you were meant to serve the false Christ in his world of death.  He is preparing you for hell.

But God wants to prepare you for Heaven!

No, hell was not made for you.  You don’t belong there.  This goes for believers and nonbelievers alike.  Now, just because I said it wasn’t made for you doesn’t mean that you won’t go there.  If you make the choice not to trust and believe in the gift of salvation through Christ (God in the form of man), then you do not operate in the Kingdom culture. If you are not operating in the Kingdom culture, then you go against God’s purpose. Which means, you are lost and will not be prepared to enter into the Kingdom.  This life is a time of preparation to give us an expected end.

Glory be to God for his grace and his Mercy. He has already sent his son to save us from our own destruction.  He has already sent us the gift that will allow us to wake up to the plan of the enemy.  He has given us the Holy Spirit that will wake us up to God’s purpose, the purpose that will prevail.  All those who serve the Lord in spirit and in truth will be saved from this destruction.  All of those you chose to serve the enemy will be locked into their destruction.

You are still standing!

I used to not feel sympathy for those who were struggling.  I used to think that since I served the Lord I was Ok.  I never realized how much I too served the world until the Lord took me out of it.  I missed it.  I tried not to look back but the pangs of want seemed to always tempt me.  I could not provide for my family.  I could not provide the lifestyle to which we were accustomed to.  I often tried to work so that I could still try to keep up with the ideas of success that the world has conditioned in me.  For this I repent.  For this I ask forgiveness and ask the Lord to teach me how to trust him altogether.  For this, I feel for people who are going through something similar and I no longer look at their misfortune as weakness, but instead of a blessing of God that they know how to get through. God will lead them through. They are strong and they are chosen because they are still here.  They are still standing. You are still standing.

There was a young women who stood up and gave her testimony at church about how she used to live this lustful life.  You know, she had a job, she had the house and the car, she had everything that she had desired.  She even had the money to buy all the goodies that made her feel successful.  She said she even experimented with drugs and things that she should not have been doing.  But then something happened and it was all taken away.  She lost everything and ended up homeless on the street.  She could have given up, she could have taken her life, she could have set her eyes on her personal failure but instead she reached back and grabbed on to the promises of God.  She talked about how she stood on him and what she had learned about his goodness. She remembered what she learned about the Lord from her youth. Then I said to myself thank you God for understanding:

Failure is not a bad thing.  It is good to fail so that you can learn and grow from your failure.

This is what's going to happen and what is happening now:

Everything that you think you want will be dangled in front of you like a carrot in front of a mule.  You will chase it and chase it and you will never get it.  And while you grow weary chasing it, the one holding it in front of you might give you a little bite but you will never get the whole thing.  Still you will find yourself in bondage. You will do all the work!

Translation:  You have been doing all the work.  Spiritual wickedness will take away your social security, it will take away you retirement plan, your health benefits, your job security, your house, your stability, and eventually your food.

This is happening now, although it has not happen to you yet, be sensitive to the signs of destruction.  It is time for us to wake up and rebuke this system.  Open up your ears and hear the pain of the people right next to you.  This is happening now.  No more unions, no more good jobs, no more expensive vacations, no more easy life.  The evil ones have been working this plan for centuries to get you hooked to money, but now it is time to give up the addiction.  I’m not reaching, I just see things for how they are.  The prayers of David will be answered in this day and time.  God is going to GET THEM!!!

And what will ye do in the day of visitation (punishment), and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave our glory?

Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners and shall fall under the slain.  For all this anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 10:3-5

This is what we have to do

We must study and learn the ways of God.

I need to tell you that the occult have stolen the ways of God.  They use the word against us.  They get up early and stay up late speaking against God’s people.  And so many who are lost fight for the wrong side.  They don’t realize that they are speaking against their own salvation.  It is time for Christians to get busy, studying the word. Meditating on it day and night.  You see the enemy can only understand with a surface understanding.  But we, as God’s chosen, as the inheritors of the Kingdom have the right to claim everything back that was stolen.  We have the right to rightly divide that word of God.  It is the love that is in us that will invite the Holy Spirit in to teach, to share, and to provide a service for our brothers and sisters.  Not just those you are believers, but also those who are lost.  Let us reach out and touch the hearts of those who need the Lord.

We pray Because it is Spiritual Warfare

Yes, we hear it time and time again. Pray.  But do we really understanding the strength of it and the power of it.  This is where the study begins and the extra step that you have to take to become stronger in the Lord.  You must study and show yourself approved.  You must learn how to fight against the plans of the wicked.  You must learn how to fight on the right side.  Do not be fooled or distracted by false promises. Instead, focus on the word of God.

I want to refer you to some articles:

We may have heard already about intercessory prayer, the prayer of thanksgiving and praise, the prayer of petition.  Now it is time for us to tap into a deeper understanding of how to use our strength and gifts to pray.  Did you know that there are different pray watches during the day?  When the spirit specifically leads you to pray at a certain time of the day, this is the time that you ought to watch over.  My mom goes to 12noon prayer at her church all the time.  This is a time to reflect and gather resources for war against the enemy.  The Lord always leads me to pray in the early morning hours, hence I pray “for such issues as healing in your body, relationships, family, government, and the economy.”  This is part of my purpose and my gift so my prayers are strong in this area.  Some saints at my church have been led to lead corporate prayer at 7pm. Sometimes we just do things, trusting the Lord and listening to the Holy Spirit, without fully understanding why.  This is good!  6pm to 9pm,  is during the first watch: a time to reflect, regather your thoughts and your mind.  This is a time to start healing and bringing things back together in unity.  Saints should always pray and not cease, but did you know that you might have a gift to pray over a specific course of the day?

I pray that you become familiar with the word of God.  This was a very long post and God led me to share.  But I encourage you to find the community that will help you find your way to everlasting life.  This is a good life.  You can live a blessed life if you know and understand God’s plan for you.  He has plans to prosper you.

Keep praying.  Keep believing in God.  Everything will be ok when you live according to God’s purpose for  your life.  He has saved up our ancestors prayers and all of our tears.  They are being poured out over minds so that we know how to fight against the enemy!

The world tries to make the Bible seem obsolete.  God has also become obsolete in a culture that has become self absorbed and humanistic. However, we did not create ourselves! I want to be clear that it is God that has made all things.  If it was not for the mercy and grace of God we would not be here.  He has allowed us to wake up this morning and we should praise him for that gift.

He gives us gifts everyday.  Brand new mercies day after day.  Hence, he is very relevant in my life.  He is very real.  His word is very real and just as important today as it was 2,000 years ago.

 

It is important to understand that he has giving us a saving grace, a gift of salvation, a chance to live life after this life.

The prophetic words that his servants spoke thousands of years ago have come full circle.  God's words never pass away.  It would be wise to acknowledge God for who he is, what he has done, and what he continues to do.

I love the message that Denzel Washington spoke at a commencement address: "Put God First!"

I concur and promote this philosophy.  Put God first in all that you do.  He is real, he is relevant, and he will lead you to where you need to go.  Just Trust in him for all things.

Who are we really?

Who are we really?  What a great mystery that the Lord has set before us to ponder.  Just think on that today and ask the Lord . . .  Who am I?

This life is a journey to get closer to God and to help others Get closer to God.  The closer we follow him the more he reveals to us.  What a mighty and powerful God that we serve!  How awesome is he that he considers us to be important enough to invest his thoughts. 

Oh God, you are mighty and most powerful.  Thank you for making me.  Thank you for my life.  I will not let it go to waste. . .

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Throwback Tuesday: Listen to the Holy Spirit

Hello all, as you well know I am a writer who writes, creates, and promotes information about finding your purpose.  The overall will of God is to help us find our way to the Kingdom so that he can show us all that he has in store for us.  The quickest way to get to the Kingdom is by being obedient!

I just wanted to share this old post with you as I am continuing my journey to grow in faith.  I am realizing that situations come into our lives that make it easy to give up on our dreams.  Things happen that make us want to throw in the towel.  I am understanding that this is a device of the enemy because when God tells you to do something you have to keep pressing on.  You must be obedient to the will of God.  The more we grow in our relationship with the Lord, and the more we read the scriptures; the more we will recognize the voice of God.

My friends we are talking about hearing from the Holy Spirit.  Letting that spirit minister to our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our spirits.

 

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

What did the Preacher Preach About?

 

Another week has started.  Now it is time for me to tell you what the preacher preached about. . .

If Christians who attended different churches were to talk to each other,  I'm sure they would find out that their Pastors spoke very similar messages.  Why is this?  It is because that is how the spirit works.  The Holy Spirit pours into teachers so that they could speak the message that God wants his people to hear. . .

My Pastor spoke on grieving the Holy Spirit.  In other words: rejecting the direction of the Holy Spirit and just not listening.  This is something that we shouldn't do.  He posed this question:

"What happens to the Christian when he becomes complacent and will not listen to the Holy Spirit?"

We are all called to do a work for God.  But many of us just take a seat back once we know that we are saved by the blood of Jesus.  But is that fair to God?  Is that fair to Jesus when we know we were called with a holy calling?  We shouldn't be taking a seat back nor should we be taking the back seat!  We are responsible for the decisions we make in this life and we are the reason why we are where we are. 

You are responsible for you.  God gave us free will so that we can choose to give our life to the instruction of the power of the word.  Often times we chose not to listen to the Holy Spirit.  This is why we have trouble in our lives  We should allow the direction of the Holy Spirit to drive us to our purpose.  HOWEVER, we still have to hold on to the wheel!  We have a responsibility to steer, always listening to the voice of God.

Why weren't we taught this in the past?

We are taught this. There are a lot of things that we are taught over and over.  Somethings we chose to forget subconsciously because we only want to do what we want to do.  In this sense, we have a selective learning experience!  But the right thing is to know that we have to acknowledge God for everything that he gives us.  We learn step by step and precept upon precept.

We take God for granted and we don't praise him for the many blessings that we do have.  We must not think that we can do it by ourselves.  We must listen and be obedient to the Holy Spirit.  Be obedient to the word of God and take action to the direction given.


This is how good God is . . . he wants his people to understand this message and that is why I know that more than one pastor was preaching this very message this morning!

The preacher made some very good points coming from Ephesians 4:17-32

#1  We should not walk in the vanity of our own minds.

We are not all that by ourselves.  We don't have the wisdom of God nor the understanding.  We cannot even fulfill our destiny until we totally surrender our "self" to God.  Hence, we should not fool ourselves into thinking that we know more than what we do know.  The whole condition of our salvation was to understand and admit that we cannot save ourselves.  We need a savior.  So, why do we keep forgetting this important fact? 

We are not following Jesus like we said we would.  Jesus even asks us: Why do you call me Lord if you do not what I say?

#2  We should have a new life in Christ.

When we accept Jesus in our lives.  We are accepting a new life and a new way of life.  We have to remember this and then examine ourselves:  "Am I living my life to the will of the father, or am I doing what I want to do?"

#3  Romans 8:5-17  If you are in the flesh you cannot please God.

A new life in Christ means a life not lived to the lust of men.  Instead we ought to be living to the will of God.  When we live to the will of God, then God can use us to complete his plan.  When God's plan is completed we will find what our spirit craves: Security, Safety,Wisdom, Understanding, Fulfillment, Love, Joy, Peace, etc. . .  But without God and with out knowing the way to these rewards; we would fail because we miss the target.  Any way you travel without God (him, his word, and spirit) will miss the target goal.

I want to encourage you to surrender to the voice of the Holy Spirit.  Walk in the Spirit!  It will always direct you correctly.  Then your life will start to exude a life of blessings.  Remember to be thankful and praise the Lord our God.  For his mercy allows us to try again each and everyday.  Thank you God!
