Day 7: Live Life Devotional

Day 7

God wants you to know his son

As we continue to meditate on how much God loves us, we must also think about how much Jesus loves us.  Jesus was with God from the very beginning of time.  Jesus is God.  Jesus is the the spoken truth of who God really is.  As we build our relationship with God he will continue to reveal more and more about who he really is.

I

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:1

We must understand also that we are limited in time.  We operate in time, but God does not operate in time.  God is forever flowing, forever moving, forever energizing, forever calculating, forever planning, and forever knowing.  Remember, he is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.  With this said,  God has already fixed all of our past problems, our current problems, and our future problems.

How did he do this?

He sent us Jesus Christ.  Jesus did a work on this earth that no other man could do.  He created a communication link back to our creator so that we can get clear directions to our destiny and to our purpose.

Have you taken the time to know God’s son?  Did you ever stop and think to yourself that maybe you are living this life all wrong?  God wants to re-establish proper communication with you.  He wants you to know his son.

Let us meditate on the following verse and let it be written on our hearts:

All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Matthew 11:27
