Life Life Day 55/56: Recognizing Spirits of Darkness

Day 55/56
2-24-2017

The last few days have opened my eyes to the very powerful presence of demonic spirits all around us.  Therefore, we began a new study on recognizing spirits of darkness.  Understand also that it is still important to know the power of our words, moving forward because we have to remain strong and aware.  But moving on . . .

Someone put this scripture up on Google + and I thought that they were fitting:

Matthew 7:21-23

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And Jesus says to them:

I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There was an Atheist that had posted something about how this scripture contradicted the bible when it said. . .

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

He asked  "How can this be, if Jesus rejected those who called him Lord, Lord ?"  But he was just asking in order to get an argument going. . .

I don't want new Christians to get confused on this scripture, nor do I want them to think it is a contradiction.  Simply put, there will be a lot of people who will be deceived by different spirits that seduce them away from the Lord.  The men and women following these spirits probably really do think that they are doing and teaching the right thing.  But they are being deceived by a delusion because of the darkness in their heart.

These people who are deceived will call upon the Lord, but they never really knew who he was or who he is.  You can not know the Lord by the works that you do.  Some people will even say that they have come in Jesus name but they really are the workers of iniquity.  Iniquity is past sin, the sin that has been dealt with when Jesus died on the cross for our sins.  Anyone who teaches that you have to do anything extra, other than believe that Christ died on the cross to save us, is a liar.

Love and peace is of the Lord.  Anger, strife, and  hate is of the enemy.  If you see these attributes in the people you hang around with, run the other way.

Salvation belongs to all who believe.

It is about recognizing the spirit of Belial and relates to the post about responding to the Hebrew Israelite.  If you were following along this week you will recognize a pattern with these seducing spirits.

I pray that this is a blessing to you and your journey to find your purpose.
Until Next Time
