God does everything on Purpose.

Everything that God has made has a specific and purposeful design.

Hence, anything that he made, he made for a reason.

I'm going to hold on to this.  I will find freedom in it and I am going to live my life according to God's purpose. So, the question to ask is what is God's purpose?

Many of us ask this question because we are trying to grab a hold to the meaning of it all.  Why are we here?  What is my purpose?  Who made me and why?

God made us.  He is the creator of all things.  So he made the good, and he made the bad.  He made happiness and he made sadness.  Why?  Why do we have to go through the things that we go through? Why do we have to live this life?

The simple answer:  We were supposed to complete it, but we couldn't do it by ourselves.  So God sent us his son to complete it for us.  Now, it is finished. What we are supposed to realize is that we are now free.  The Lord is coming back for us.  Until we come in that complete understanding, we are to live life.  Live it for God and spread the Good News of a savior.

I don't have all the answers but this is what I am seeking after.  I am seeking after the truth.  I am seeking after the right understanding and the right answer.  I am seeking after righteousness.  I am seeking after the Kingdom.  I am seeking after my savior Jesus Christ.

I no longer wish to participate in the evil ways of the world.

How do I know what is evil?

Things that have no purpose is evil.  It is "Futile."  It doesn't generate any type of useful result.  Most of us have been convinced that our lives were meant to work, produce a wage, gain the things of this world, perhaps make a better life for our children, then die.  However, this is an incomplete cycle.  God does not work in incompleteness.  God creates systems that allows for process and growth.  God always completes his purpose.

Instead of thinking that everyone should work for a living for the purpose of making money, let us complete the cycle.  Everyone should aspire to work, in order to provide a better life for their children, and their children's children.  Everyone, should be setting up systems  that make it easier for the future generations to live happy and peaceful lives.  This is what we really want, happiness, joy, and peace.  Every person should set up these programs with the intentions of them growing in the future; having patience to endure the process and the wisdom for them to be self sustaining.  Every person should grow in the understanding that yes, we do this for family, but more than that we do it for God's family; the Kingdom.

If we do it for any other reason than God's purpose, it is futile; producing no result.

Why is this?

Often times, people live, work, and aspire to achieve in order to gain notoriety in this world.  This is the same temptation that the enemy tried with Jesus.  The adversary tells us to gaze upon all the riches of the world.  He tells us we can have it all, "if you just bow down and worship me. . . "

Why do we fall for this?

This is the problem with sin, it separates us from God an therefore separates us from God's purpose.  Hence, we cannot function correctly and therefore we need a savior.  We can not leave a true inheritance for our children unless we turn our lives over to the right thinking.  We must turn our lives over to the Lord.

Why do we do the things that we do?

Why do we work like slaves and not set up anything for our children?  Why do we work so hard for a false promise that is never going to happen?  This world is not set up for you to win.  This world is a false kingdom, with false promises, and false inheritances.  We were purposed for more, we were purposed for better.  We are not part of the world Kingdom, but we were purpose for God's Kingdom.

I'm not talking about setting up money in the bank, and cashing insurance checks when a loved one dies! I'm talking about setting up Kingdom Legacy.  Having the time to teach our children about the ways of the Lord.  This is freedom!  This is the greatest inheritance that my natural father could have ever given me as his child.  My dad taught us how to have and build a personal relationship with the Lord.  I'm talking about having a family that clearly serves the Lord with mind, body, and soul.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Joshua 25:15

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I would rather walk in God's counsel, then the counsel of unjust men.  I no longer desire to follow men who are led by sin and live their lives to their own lust.  I pray that people start to see what ways are God's ways, and which ways are the World's ways.

The World's ways are fruitless and have no real purpose:

Education for Titles
Titles for Rank
Rank for Employment
Employment for Money
Money for stuff
Stuff for false happiness
False happiness for bragging rights
bragging for notoriety
notoriety for power
power for gain
gain for selfishness
selfishness for pride
pride for death

The wages of sin is death.  Why do you work for death?

God's ways equal life

belief for faith
faith for growth
growth for relationship
relationship for wisdom
wisdom for understanding
understanding for light
light for life everlasting
life everlasting in the Kingdom with all the kingdom blessings

But first seek the Kingdom of heaven and its righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you.

The most important thing that we want added to us is everlasting life with our heavenly father!

What is living righteous?

Living righteous is living right.  Living righteous is living under the direction of the Holy Spirit.  Living righteous is serving the King's purpose.  Hence, we have to go through  the process, we have to go through somethings in order to learn and in order to grow into Kingdom mindset.

This is not a hard thing to do.  It just takes one, simple step: Believe in the Lord, that he died to reconnect us to the father so that we can have everlasting life.  This is the reason why Jesus died.  This was his purpose.  Our weight is not as heavy as his.

Just start believing in him.  He is the only way to everlasting life.

I think that everyone needs to go off and experience life for themselves.  We can't just keep on living the way that someone else tells us to live, not unless it is the Holy Spirit.  I am done learning from men.  The word says:

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms 1:1

Hence friends, I tell you this: Don't take any man's or woman's word for the truth.  It is your responsibility to seek the Lord for yourself.  Please do not take my word for it or anyone else's.  Develop your relationship with the Lord.  This is where your freedom is.  I am moving on to other things.  I am moving towards building a legacy.  This legacy is not for myself, or my natural family; instead it is for my kingdom family.  I am living for God's purpose.  It is time for us to build up the Kingdom.

I need my writing to be purposeful and not futile.  Therefore this is my last post until I get a clear vision about how this blog is purposeful to the Kingdom.

Until Next Time

Teacher Tuesday: Sis. Sharon, 25 signs of a prophet

If I needed to stay on track and check my awareness, I check out Sis. Sharon on YouTube.  She tells it like it is and she is a great teacher . . .

Just a warning, she may be just a little too direct for some people and I wouldn't be surprised if she were to offend someone.  But I watch her and I learn a lot.

This is the thing friends,  God has opened up a window in heaven and he is pouring out much insight about who you are.  It is time for people to start waking up and start using their gifts.  But first, you must learn who you are.  Why are you here on this earth?  There are some prophets, some teachers, some ministers, some evangelists etc.  We must not get caught up in a title or human promotion but instead listen to the voice of the Lord.  What will he have you to do?

We have preachers who are chosen to preach the word so that people can hear it. We have evangelists that are supposed to travel and preach the word of God.  We have missionaries who are suppose to show the compassion of God's love through service and mission work.  We have prophets who are supposed to warn the people of the consequences of their actions.  We have dreamers, we have interpreters, we have influencers, we have communicators, we have so many gifts in the body of Christ!

Our biggest mistake as a church is putting one gift ahead of another and praising the man for his gift.  All praise and recognition should go to our father in heaven. If people do not have the ear to hear, they just won't get it.  If your gift is not to preach the word, people won't hear it.  I now know that I am a teacher and a connector.  I am here to present the information and help you make the necessary connections in order to operate in a higher understanding.  I'm also understanding that if your heart is not worthy, God will block you from that understanding until you are ready.

We have to start identifying who we are and what our gifts are.  Sister Sharon is going to break down 25 signs that you are called to be a prophet or prophetess for God.

Here are a few that she explains in the video:

  1. The prophet hates the sin but not the person
  2. Has an understanding of eternal consequences
  3. Always aware of God's Holiness
  4. Annoyed by corruption in organized religions
  5. Questions man's traditions
  6. Not a follower of people
  7. Walks in calling but not boasting about it
  8. Talks about God's standards for living
  9. Has no desire of this present world
  10. Skillful in the word of God
  11. Thinker-Creative-Resourceful
  12. Takes charge and usually is accused of taking over
  13. Worshiper
  14. Teaching is about living holy and being holy
  15. Outcast/ doesn't fit in

Learn more, take notes, and be aware of your gifts!

Let us all start operating in our purpose. . .

How do I know what business to start?

Hey everyone,

So if you are not aware, I do a periscope on Saturdays at 10am.  I am going to try to be more consistent with writing notes about it because I think the Lord gives me information for you to take away and apply to your life . . . So check out the scope but also write these things down:

You can find a link to the video by joining me on Google + or by following the Live Life Project Collection . . .

What I know:
  • The Kingdom is moving forward.   The Lord is giving his people ideas about business.  What I see is a people coming out of mind bondage and starting to operate in Kingdom principles. . .

You are the head and not the tail

You are above and not beneath

You are made for great things!

  • The Holy spirit has given you ideas to move forward in business, entrepreneurship, and non-profits.  He is giving you ideas on how to help people, help communities, and to grow organizations for the betterment of a particular territory.  The expansion is happening.  You are supposed to start now!

How do you know what business to start?

God has probably talked to you about starting your business, but you are not hearing him clearly enough.  This is why you need to build your relationship with the Lord so that you can hear and understand the directions he is giving to you.

There is a reason why you got fired from your job . . .
There is a reason why your spouse left you. . .
There is a reason why you were separated from that church. . .
There is a reason why you started thinking differently about how to live this life!

God is calling you to something greater!!!

You are suppose to use your gifts, talents, and abilities that God has given you to expand the territory he has given you.  It is time for a major mind shift and the way that you are thinking. . . .

Think about this:  What is that thing that you spend time on when you are not working your job?  What is that thing that you spend your money on?  What is that thing that you don't count as a gift but you do it so easily and everyone asks you to do it . . . What is the thing that you are known for . . The thing that you will lose sleep over?  This is the thing that you do.  This is the passion that God has given you to explore and grow.

Write down you talents.  Write down your gifts.  What dreams do you have about how to use these things in your life?  Your dreams are not crazy!!!  Your dreams are real.  The vision that God has given you is real.  Start off small, build your foundation, and move into the next level of your purpose.

You are being trained for this!

Your whole life was designed to teach you about your purpose!

#1  Figure out what your business is going to be by exploring who you are and what your gifts are.
#2  Make up your mind to make the Holy Spirit the CEO of your company.  Done deal, he is hired!
#3  Get a journal, start writing down everything that he tells you to do, step by step . . .
#4  Pray on the regular.  Figure out what your pray strategy is going to be and make it part of your everyday life.

You need to pray specifically and strategically

Pray that the Lord:

  1. Organize your mind
  2. Organize your Relationships
  3. Organize your home life/church life/ work life: these things all need to become one
  4. Organize and get your money mind recalibrated.

I talk about what each of these things means and why they are important on my scope:

New starts:  How do I know what business to start?

check out the video . . . these are my notes on this Saturday live video scope, along with the following books/Authors:

Mike Murdock:  He will give you specific information on how to sow seed, the purpose of sowing seed, and the different types of seed there is.
Read: "Dream Seeds"

T.D. Jakes:  Check out his book about prioritizing your purpose and entrepreneurship.  Look up "Destiny" and "Soar"

Terri Savelle Foy:  You need to get your mind organized!! Trust me, this one is good for you: "Declutter your Way to Success."

Francis Shovel Shinn : "The Game of Life and How to Play" Listen to this today!!!

Warning!!

To all of those who are just starting your journey. . . do not get caught up with the new age movement!!  Jesus has sent us help, and that is the Holy Spirit.  Let the Holy Spirit guide you in all understanding.  Let the Word of God (The Bible)  be the foundation of all truth in your life.

-Until Next Time

Wisdom Wednesday: Trust God for Everything

May the Lord have complete control of my heart and my mind. Let God's perfect will be done in my life.

This is a statement that I must be mindful of everyday. There is so much that can distract us from the perfect will of God. The bible did say that there will be many seducing spirits in the world. We have to be very careful to test each and every spirit against the word of God. How do we do that? Well, friends, we must be in the word everyday. We have to have alone time with the Lord so that he can lead us to where we need to go.

I have to trust in the Lord. I can't walk this walk alone. I tried. I tried to do things in my own might. I am a self starter, an independent thinker, an over achiever. I always felt like I could do anything if I set my mind to it.

I can be the very best that I can be!

I can be anything I want to be!
Right?

This is what our culture teaches us and this is what many of us aspire to be; successful. However, every time I tried to do it on my own I was either # 1 Not as satisfied with the final outcome or #2 overwhelmed and exhausted from trying to achieve my own so called "success."

This was not living. Me, trying to do things on my own was a trap. We cannot have our ideas of success in this world, because this world is not set up for us to live the "easy life," that we aspire to obtain. This is a false promise by the enemy. This world was instead set up for you to grow. It was set up for you to learn how to be dependent on God for your needs, wants, and desires so that you can then receive your everlasting inheritance.

Remember that phrase that we used to hear in church;

Let go and let God!

Yes, this is what we should be doing.

This is your wisdom for Wednesday:
Put your complete trust in the word of God. We need to trust God for everything. This does take time and it is a process.

Let us not get confused about the process to get there. Yes, we need to learn how to live a surrendered life for Jesus, but this is not going to happen by following a set code of conduct or a list of rules. People tried it and it doesn't work. Trying to follow laws to justify one's self just produces more problems. Jesus died so that we can have a chance to achieve through him and his seed of righteousness. When we chose to believe Jesus by faith, we plant a seed of love and righteousness in our hearts. After this, we must go through our own individual process of knowing him so that we can decrease in the flesh and increase in the spirit.

Remember: Jesus Christ is the end of the law of righteousness

This simply means that you cannot earn your salvation. The easiest way to understand this fully is to develop a personal relationship with your Lord and put your complete trust in him. The Holy Spirit will teach you in all truth.

Let me explain it like this. Rules will not get you into heaven. Following rules only conditions the heart to try to work for freedom instead of accepting a free gift. You must be broken down in life to understand that you need this gift. Your flesh must be broken even more in order to let the Holy Spirit do a complete new work in you. This is what Paul meant when he related God's words for him to the people of Corinth:

My Grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness . . .

2 Corinthians 12:9

Friends, take comfort in you trials, for this means that God loves you. He chastise those whom he loves. Through your correction, he is made stronger and more evident in your life. Through your growth process there is something happening to your spirit behind the scenes. The Christ that is in you is continuing to grow. Have faith that everything is working out for the good.

Let God's perfect will be done in your life. Everything is happening for a purpose and a reason. Remember to put your complete trust in the Lord.

until next time

Teacher Tuesday: The Good Teacher

In my last years of teaching in the public school, I had often heard my students whine and complain; “I can’t do it. . .  it’s too hard . . . can you do it for me?”
No, I can’t do it for you!  If I do the work for you then that is making you weak.  Listen up,  if you are depending on your pastor to do all the work for you, to bring the word week after week, and you chose not to study yourself, you will repeat the year, you will be left back, and there will be no growth in you.   You must study yourself, you must have the desire to study.  Read your bible and spend time with God.

What kind of teacher would the Lord be if he did all the work for you?  He knows that he has to require you to study the word.  Study and learn who you are and who you were made to be.

This is something that I wrote not too long ago about being a good teacher . .

“Who wants a teacher who is just going to give you a cheat sheet to the test? That’s a lazy teacher. That’s a teacher who doesn’t care. But a teacher who carefully plans the distribution of information so that a student may discover at his level, to obtain wisdom and understanding through application and creativity; well, that is the teacher that I yearn to become.”

The Lord wants to be your teacher and he wants to guide you through every trial.  He wants to be there for you.  He doesn't want to see you suffer.  You just have to put your faith in him.  Put your faith in the truth of his word.

I want to share with you a video that I had come across.  It is a young woman giving her testimony.  I think it was awesome that she shared her journey with us.  I also like how she mentioned at the end of her video that we all have purpose.  And if we do not step into our purpose then we are good for nothing and we will die good for nothing.  People do go to hell.  This is the thing everyone . . . people go to hell.  The word of God is for real and Jesus is for real.

I pray that this video gives you hope for a future:

Live for Jesus
Live your Journey
Live life on Purpose
and remember that there is purpose in the process

Wisdom for Wednesday: The Chinese Bamboo tree

Greetings and a very good evening,

I am writing this blog late in the evening but felt it is an important one to share. I find my self at the mercy of time.    I don't have much of it at this moment.  Went back to work substitute teaching as a side hustle.  It is taking up my time but thank goodness not as much as a full time teaching job . . .

I thank God for teaching me the value of time. Time is important for growth.

I just want to encourage you if you are on your journey to purpose and you find yourself being called back to your old life.  You tell yourself that you can handle it.  You tell your self that it will be different this time.  I have to tell you that the Lord says not to turn around and look back.  Don't go back to what the Lord brought you out of. . .

The thing is that I did come out of a world that was just using me to keep its system going.  It was using me and using me up.  For me, it was my job, it might be something else for you.  I am not about that life anymore and I'm not going back.  Get this, several people are telling me about an art teacher position available at my alma mater.  However, I'm out of that world and I am on a mission to please my Lord.

You can't serve two masters!

That is the wisdom for Wednesday . . . It just can't be done.  We already don't have enough time to live and grow; so it is very important to pick who you will serve.  I'm not saying that you don't need to work . . . yes you do.  However, you don't have to neglect your family, yourself, and your creativity to do it.  Don't let the world suck your energy dry.  Let God nurture you during your time of growth.  Let the Lord give you a strong foundation and strong roots to hold up the weight that you were designed to carry.

I do have my moments . . . but it is detrimental to doubt

The only problem that I am having now on my journey is the need for money.  I think I do miss it a little bit.  This is why it is such an enticing offer to go back into the school system.  But then I remember the Lord's promises to me and I decide to stick with him.  This will happen to you as well.  You will always get that call to go back into the world, but it is a lie.  Keep on the path and keep following the vision that God has given you.  You can't see it, but he is preparing something special just for you.  Remember this also; you will never get any plant to grow if you keep digging it up to check it's growth!  Trust the plan.  Trust the Lord and don't listen to everyone else's opinions about where you are supposed to be!

Although nothing is happening right now with the business part of my transition, I know that it will happen eventually.  I know that if I keep planting good seed, if I keep watering that seed, and if I keep nurturing that seed, something will grow.  I'm waiting and trusting in the Lord:

This is more wisdom:

Wait and trust in the Lord.  He made you a promise and he always keeps his promises . . .

I am reminded of the Chinese Bamboo tree that I wrote about in my book, "Transition Into Life."  I have heard the story in many motivational speeches.  If you haven't heard about it, here is an excerpt from my book:

From Transition Into Life:

I remember listening to Les Brown always telling the story about the bamboo tree that took 15 years before it started to show any signs of growth. The special thing about this bamboo was that for 15 years, there would be no sign of growth, but the person growing it would have to believe that if he watered it everyday, that one day in that fifteenth year it would tower beyond his expectations.

I thought the story was so fantastic that I decided to look it up and research this amazing bamboo tree. I found nothing about a tree that you had to water for 15 years, but I did find some information of the Chinese Bamboo tree.

This awesome tree, which came from a little seed, needed to be planted in a rich soil, in the right environment, in the right climate, at the right time. It then had to be cared for and watered everyday. After the first year nothing would happen. The same result of a vacant dirt bed would plague any unwitting person passing by. The ground still yielding no proof in year 2, 3, or 4 of the seed that lay growing a strong foundation beneath the soil. The farmer, he knew.  He was the one who planted the seed in its place, he knew and waited patiently.  He continued to water it everyday because he knew that one day in the 5th year, the bamboo tree would shoot up to be over 80 feet tall in the period of five weeks!

Here is the point to that story; your growth is inevitable because God designed you to grow. The thing is no one but God knows your growth plan. No one has the right to say where you are going or where you are going to end up. God is preparing your strength for whatever he has planned for you to endure. Some people understand this and some don’t. Some people will learn this, others never will.

Put yourself in the right environment and the right climate to grow. For everything there is a time. Your time is now!

Don't go back into a system that was not designed for you.  Your father is calling you to something better.  He sees you on your way back home and he is preparing a big party for you.
Give it time, it's going to happen.

Live your Life on Purpose
Until Next Time

Throwback Thursday: Be a Doer

My Brain is constantly moving, digesting, and computing from lessons of the past.  I am always trying to review, understand, and apply the lessons that the Lord has presented me.  I can't always keep up but I try really hard.

One way that I try to keep up is to review something that he has already taught me: hence the Throwback Thursday idea.  I'm just sharing with you what he has taught me and in case you have forgotten, I'm bringing it up again!

I remember when God was teaching me about taking action.  This Life is not about sitting back and letting others do the work.  This life is not about hoping and waiting for the God to fix everything . . . Instead we were placed here for a reason.  We are meant to learn and grow from this life so that we can enter into the next.  If we are not prepared then we will not enjoy the wedding feast.  Better yet, some of us are expecting to be the bride, all dressed in white, but most of us will only be guests, while others will be locked out, and others even asked to leave.

I encourage you saints of God to live obedient to the word of God.  Answer the call that God has placed on you life.  Be a doer and not a hearer only.  Get busy for God, and not busy for this world.  The following is an excerpt from an article I wrote last May:

This is confusing to explain.  Yes, we caste the burden on the Lord, but no we do not sit back and let things just happen.  We have to take an active role in our responsibilities to the Lord:

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 1:22

So, it is important to find out what it means to be a doer of the word.  Being a doer of the word means to go through the whole process.  We can't just stop at the receiving our salvation.  That would be like going to Pre-school then saying 'I'm done!  We must lead a changed life, by hearing the Holy spirit and follow the directions given to us by the Holy Spirit.  You can not hear the voice of the Holy Spirit if you do not know the language.  You only learn the language by spending time in the word.  Studying, reading, praying, and communicating with the Lord teaches you the language.  You follow God the father, son, and Holy Spirit (all are one in different forms), through your faith that you have, that this is really happening.  Trials come to build your faith up.  Believing, even after the storm, that yes this is happening!
I think this was my confusion when I was younger.  I thought I could live my life, and try my best to be a good Christian, by not drinking, cursing, or doing drugs.  I thought that I was a good Christian because I went to church, taught Sunday School, and participated in Church activities.  I thought I was doing what I was supposed to be doing.  I prayed, I read my bible, and I did my best. . .

However Friends

I have learned that drawing closer to the Lord requires more commitment, more time, and more growth on my part.  I am no longer a sit back, go with the flow type Christian. I write this blog because God called me to do it.  I have some more things on the list to do but at least I know that I am willing and that I have started.  I am doing this because God needs me to.  He is also preparing me for more.  I do this work for the Lord, I do it with the confidence that it provides a service to you.

I used to asked my mother why it always seemed like I would get excited for Christ but then that excitement would die down.  She simply explained to me that it was all apart of my spiritual growth.  Your spiritual growth takes conditioning.  God has to train us in order to run these long distance races.  We have to learn how not to be tired out by worldly affairs, but instead dedicate our lives to the work of the Lord.  When we seek after the Lord and his Kingdom we will receive our reward.  When we serve the Lord with our whole self we will receive the reward of the inheritance.

Only family will receive the invite to the wedding.  How many times have you been called?  Answer your call.  Answer your invitation.

We are the Prodigals: Manage Your Money!!

Hello all, wanted to share another excerpt from my book:  Transitions Into Life . . .

These are just notes really and may or may not be displayed in the book like this.

I really am observing our behavior in this world.  Why we act the way we act and do the things that we do.  It is amazing that the Lord has every example about our condition in the good book.  I implore you to read the bible, it is such a good read!

How do you Feel?

I am going to be perfectly honest with you, I feel cheated. Life is not fair. I feel like someone has given me the short end of the stick. So, I often take up my issues with the head honcho upstairs.

“Lord what is going on!?”

You see, I know something is not right because I believe the word of God. So, when I read comparisons of the righteous and the fools in proverbs, I notice my life is reflecting the consequences of the foolish. Let us please stop lying to ourselves. God has something better for us. Let us begin to be even more diligent in the word of God, rightly dividing it, and gaining wisdom from it. Let us receive the correction of the Lord and stop making the same mistakes over and over again. Let us learn how to gain our wealth so that we can help more people. My bible says right there in proverbs that the blessing of the Lord maketh rich, with no sorrow to it. I am ready to change my money mindset. I am ready to change my whole mind about this life. I am ready for my next transition in thinking.

Transition your Thinking:

From: Money is evil

To the truth:

The love of money is the root of all evil

Bible study:

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. . .

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. . .

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. . .

The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. . .

The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. . .

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. . .

In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. . .

The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. . .

He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. . .

He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. . .

The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. . .

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. . .

The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. . .

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. . .

The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. . .

The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. . .

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

Go Read all of Proverbs Chapter 10

King James Bible

Lesson to learn: We have to develop our relationship with the Lord so that he can show us the right way to develop a relationship with everything else. Otherwise we stay lost. Otherwise we will have to learn things the hard way. It’s simply called experience. I want a little less experience and a little more happy by following in the ways of the Lord.

God wants to teach us the right way to use our inheritance.

Does your life remind you of the prodigal son?

Does your management of money seem to be wasteful?

Do you find your self trapped in debt with no wiggle room to enjoy your life?

Do you work at a job that you hate?

Transition your thinking from

I need to make money in order to survive in this world

To the Truth:

I have a father in heaven who will provide my every need.

Verse: No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other, ye cannot serve God and mammon. Luke 16:13
Bible study:
Luke Chapter 15:11-24 of the book of Luke talks about the prodigal son. The youngest of two sons asked his father for his inheritance. This son had all he needed at his father’s estate, but instead decided to journey into a far country where he spent all his money frivolously. He found himself in a pretty tough situation where he then had to find a job that was obviously beneath him. This job didn’t even manage to sustain his basic living needs and there was no one who offered him help to live life.

Realizing his mistake, and his faulty spending habits, the son finally talked himself into going back to his father to ask forgiveness for his wasteful living.

I will go back to my father and will say unto him, Father I have sinned against heaven and before thee, And I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of your hired servants. Luke 15:18-19

Finally, the son returned but before he could give his big apology speech the father saw him coming down the road, returning home after being lost in an unknown country. The father decide to throw a party to welcome his son back. He was happy that he returned safe and saw no unworthiness on him.

Lesson to learn: We are all prodigals. We are living in a country that is not our own. Everything in this world is vanity and it will fade away. When we are not fully aware of who we are, we are being used and used up by the citizens of this unknown country. We will die here if we don’t wake up and realize who our father is.

We are servants of God and there for our finances should be available to him. But more than that, we are heirs and our father wants us to return home. Our finances are not for the pursuit of our personal happiness here on this earth. We must first seek the kingdom and its righteousness and everything else will be added to us. We must be responsible with what God has given us. Read Luke chapter 15 and 16 for yourself and gain insight on who you are and what your relationship should be with money.

God wishes to teach us a responsible and managerial money mindset

Wishing you great success in Living your Life on  Purpose!
