Thank you for your Service.
These are the words that are singing in my head this Veterans Day. I sent these words to my brother for his work in the Army this morning. I sincerely send my thanks and gratitude to all the veterans that have served in the armed forces.
We ought to give credit to where credit is due. We need to train ourselves to recognize that there are some of us who have sacrificed a lot. There is a reward for serving others. There is a reward to the spirit for being the person that stands in the face of harm to fight for what is right. We send our love and appreciation to those who have fought in America's armed forces. We send our gratitude to those who go unrecognized.
Friends, if you are not aware, there is a spiritual war going on all around us. It has been since before the beginning of our creation. There are angels who are fighting all around us this very minute. They are fighting to get us out. We are in the part of the war where the enemy has been defeated, we just are still living in zones of chaos. Many of us don't realize that the war is over, this is just the last attempt for the enemy to try to deceive the spirits who remain on the battle field. Victory was ours two thousand years ago. We just have to wake up from the trauma of the battle. It is time for us to collect the spoils of the war. It is time for us to let each other know, the king is coming back to bring order once again.
Here is you motivation for Monday:
Victory is Ours!
The Battle is Won!
Let us rejoice in the coming of our King!
There are those among us who know what it means to fight in this spiritual war. Let us give them thanks for their service. Thank you to those who answered their call. Thank you to those in the ministry to service God's people. Thank you to those who go out to do missionary work, apologetic work, prophetic work, evangelical work, and all work that teaches about the love of Jesus Christ. I want those who are reading this to understand that Jesus Loves you. He cares for you. He has fought for you and he will not let you go. He is looking for you right now in the aftermath of the battle. All he needs from you is a shout, a cry, a call for his name:
14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Romans 10 13-15 KJV
Thank you to those who preach the Gospel of the Good News Of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your service!
In class this week we have been discussing the issue of plagiarism. I thought it was odd, not because I don't understand the topic of plagiarizing someone's work and claiming it as your own, but because everything that I have read thus far in this doctorate class has been plagiarized from the word of God. Truthfully, a lot of things that have been claimed as great scientific discovery in this world has been plagiarized from the word of God. Now, because I know who I am, I am not afraid to speak my truth in my journey of higher education, so I wrote the following:
"When approaching the subject of plagiarism I get very concerned about presentation. When a writer is presenting his work he wants to show his ideas and perhaps his process to the arrival of those ideas. At least this is my goal and at no point would I want anyone to feel like I am taking their thoughts to use as my own; nor, would I want anyone to present my ideas as their original work. We live in a world that claims to want to be fair. However, I have a complex in my spirit. There are two truths that are fighting with each other: 1) we should always give credit to the original author 2) No one’s ideas are original because they all come from the creator.
Solomon writes:
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9
The conundrum is, to whom is the real credit to be given?"
The answer my friends is that the credit should be given to the creator, Our God.
He is our Lord, Strong and Mighty!
He is the Lord, Mighty in Battle!
He has won the Victory!
Thank you Father for your Service
One last thing before I go. I want to share a poem with you from a new book that I have been working on called "Little Black Boy," available on Amazon soon. . .
Winning
Although we lose souls we are winning
Although we cry out with our most wrenching groans
Although we drag ourselves treacherously through the trials of life
We will yet gain victory on our thrones
Teach us Lord how to fight
How to pray and how to speak
How to comfort each other's wounds
as we approach the mountain's peak
We do not fight against flesh and blood
so our spiritual power we find
We ask for our spiritual weapons in faith
our tears collected, so we can bind
We bind all lies, all powers, all plans
All maleficent devils, sit down where you stand
with all of your destruction and your impish cruel ways
You continue to be no match for our most magnificent praise
You are defeated!
All your tricks and schemes
to take our royal right
Will not prevail against the mighty
Our King, the Word, Our light
Strong in battle
Give praise to the Lord of Lords
Mighty is he
Give thanks to the King of Kings
Lord we pray for peace in our souls
While the world lives chaotic around us
For we know when you call us home
We will give thanks to the one who has found us
All ye fools who say with in themselves,
that there is no creator on high
Even you in time of trouble
give reverence to God when you cry
All ye mighty men who say in their heart
I have achieved this all alone
Even you who believes in only yourself
It is the Lord who will carry you home
Remember to Live Life on Purpose
Until Next Time
